We are always looking for qualified applicants age 18 and above. For salary and hourly positions with World Vision International, you can search for jobs, register, create a candidate profile, and apply on this site (careers.wvi.org) for positions of interest.

To be considered for an open vacancy with our organisation, please complete the following steps to apply through our online application system:

  1. Click on "Login" on the top of the page.

  2. If you have not registered previously, go to "Need to register as a new user?"

  3. A new page will open asking you to fill out the required fields and click "register". You will receive a confirmation email for future reference.

  4. Upon registration completion you will be taken to a screen called "Your Dashboard"

  5. To search for positions please use the "Search All Jobs" menu on the top of the page. Search by keyword, country, region etc.

  6. Upon finding your position of interest click on "Apply for this job".

  7. Complete additional fields, upload your CV (resume) and Cover letter (max. 2 MB each) and then click on "Apply"

Your application has now been submitted!

If you would like to apply to other World Vision location-specific Support/Fundraising Offices whose positions are not listed on this careers site, please visit https://careers.wvi.org/world-vision-support-offices.

You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you used when registering. Please be sure to check your spam folder as well.

Thank you for applying to work with World Vision! You do not need to apply again, your original application will still be attached to the position and will be in the system for consideration.

Due to the large volume of applications received, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Log into your candidate profile on careers.wvi.org. Once you have logged in, click on “Account Details” and upload your revised CV and/or Cover Letter and click on "Update." When you update your profile, this information automatically updates the positions to which you have applied as well as to your application profile.

You can update your profile information (including phone number, address, resume etc.), at any time by logging into your candidate profile on careers.wvi.org. Once you have logged in, you can edit your profile information by clicking on “Account Details” “Profile Information” and “Professional References.” Remember to click “save” after any changes you have made. When you update your profile, this information automatically updates the positions to which you have applied.

*Please note: email addresses cannot be changed or updated. You will need to create a new profile in order to change your email address.

To see the status of your past applications, login to your candidate profile by visiting careers.wvi.org/login, go to “Your Dashboard” and view “jobs you’ve recently applied for.”

To request a new password go to https://careers.wvi.org/forgot-password. An email will be sent to you shortly with a new password.

As you noticed when you opened this website, we have placed a warning message about fraudulant job advertisements: 

World Vision does not outsource its recruitment process to any organization or agency which, through website postings, mass e-mail messages, newsletters or otherwise claims to be doing recruitment on its behalf. World Vision will only use approved and reputable executive search firms (exception basis only).

Advertisements for vacant positions can only be found on our official World Vision International career website careers.wvi.org and/or on World Vision Support Office websites.

World Vision does not, and will never solicit money for any part of its recruitment processes including short-listing, interviews, background, and/or medical check-ups.

You can explore the (USA based) World Vision International Internship Programme by visiting careers.wvi.org/internships. This virtual internship opportunity is based in the U.S. and is only available for all U.S. citizens/residents and F1 Student visa holders in the following states where WVI is registered to as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Colombia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

As a virtual intern you will not be rquired to go into the office at any point. These internships are tailored to be performed digitally and remotely.

There are a number of additional internship experiences available across the global World Vision Partnership. WVI Internship Programme Interns can be current college students (juniors and seniors only), graduate students, or recent graduates from an undergraduate/graduate program (within 2 years). See internship description for specific requirements.

Internships are 13 weeks long. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all our current U.S. internship opportunities are remote. Interns will not be required to move to a WVI office location. 

WVI is not able to provide equipment at the moment. Interns will be asked to use their own electronic devices.

To ensure the security of WVI information, IT requires to install endpoint security software like Sentinel One and Zscaler on intern personal computers for the duration of the program.

Yes, if you would like to receive credit, an MOU between your university and WVI must be signed.

All WVI Internship Programme applicants must be currently eligible to work in the United States either as a U.S. citizen or resident, or currently hold a F1-student visa. We do not provide internship work sponsorship.

While there is no guarantee of full-time employment post World Vision Internship Programme experience, interns are welcome to apply to any open positions that suit their profile.
