WV Compliance Programme Training Coordinator

World Vision is seeking a highly-motivated, solutions-focused Training Coordinator to join our Global People & Culture (P&C) Learning & Development (L&D) Team to support the rollout of the WV Compliance programme trainings to over 30,000 staff in more than 100 countries. The successful candidate will provide project management for the design, piloting and roll-out all new compliance training development. They will manage end-to end administration of all WV Compliance training: course enrolments, upload/updating of materials into the LMS, course communications, tracking and reporting completion, and supporting training evaluation. The candidate will work alongside the Senior Instructional Designer, SMEs and other key actors for successful scale-up of WV Compliance trainings.


Manages all global compliance trainings:

  • Guides business content owners and their SMEs through the development of courses, utilizing Instructional Designers to build the courses.

  • Manages relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Utilizes modern. up-to-date learning technology delivery.

  • Manages deployment stakeholders through the planning stage.

  • Define project resource requirements.

  • Rolls out executes all trainings.

Global compliance LMS/content management:

  • Maintain WV Compliance training schedule.

  • Organise/maintain training documentation.

  • Upload trainings for launch in the LMS and troubleshoot issues.

  • Work with the LMS admin for continuous improvement of the learning environment.

  • Manage enrolments and support learners where needed.

  • Maintain database of training and compliance records for all WV Compliance trainings.

  • Escalate issues, inquiries, and suggestions to key stakeholders as necessary.

Course Communications:

  • Serve as the WV Compliance training point of contact.

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing WV Compliance training documentation.

  • Provide timely course communications, in collaboration with content owners and P&C Communications team.

  • Establish and maintain contacts with key stakeholders to ensure marketing and enrolments objectives are achieved.

  • Support continuous improvement of training communications systems.

Course Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze training metrics/reporting, to demonstrate WV’s adherence to compliance.

  • Track/review training data to identify trends that could help improve training design/delivery.

  • Monitor employees' training completion status and follow up with management to ensure completion.

  • Produce and share compliance training completion reports with key stakeholders.

  • Support training evaluation and produce timely training evaluation.

  • Identify and assess business risks due to non-compliance.

Partnering and Collaborating:

  • Coordination with key stakeholders across the broader WV Compliance programme.

  • Partner with key stakeholder to ensure best practice in course coordination.

  • Establish and strengthen linkages and networks with relevant WV L&D communities of practice and experts, stakeholders and partners.

  • Contribute proactively to team projects and activities designs modules for courses as instructed by the Director for L&D.


  • Bachelor Degree in Event Planning, Project Management, Operations Management or similar; or L&D qualification.

  • 5 years of experience managing training courses at a global level from planning through execution.

  • Excellent oral and written cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Proven planning, organizational, time management, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to analyse data and create compelling dashboards and reports, based on a solid understanding of both L&D principles and practices and WV business.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, balanced with the ability to work independently on globally, goal-related projects with minimum supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.

  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours where necessary to accommodate time differences between self and supervisor/other colleagues.

  • English required.

  • Spanish or French additional preferred.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience working in either a corporate or global role and skilled at communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Flexible attitude and driven work ethic in an ever-changing and evolving landscape.

  • Experience using other products (e.g. Articulate 360) and platforms (e.g. Moodle), plus technical experience in video, social media, web design and production.

  • Flexibility with schedule to connect with teams in various time zones.

Work Environment/Travel:

Senior Instructional Designer

Experienced Instructional Designer/Developer to work with the L&D team of a child-focused global humanitarian aid /development organisation.

The successful candidate will work globally with stakeholders across World Vision to develop coherent, standardized, scalable curricula for an audience of over 35,000 staff across more than 100 countries in some of the world’s most complex environments.

The candidate will be a highly experienced, competent learning designer with a comprehensive understanding of competency-based approaches; demonstrated proficiency in the design/development of innovative, interactive eLearning courses, using modern authoring tools including Articulate 360 , Adobe Photoshop and Audition, and LMS/CMS/LRS systems.


Training needs assessment and planning:

  • Develop and implement training needs assessment.

  • Consult extensively to gather requirements and assess suitability of potential learning solutions to support the development of our people.

  • Establish training and development plans that prioritize business initiatives according to strategic direction, current performance and return on investment.

Learning Design and Development:

  • Build and establish frameworks, guidance and templates for course design and development leveraging your creativity and experience to share new ideas.

  • Design innovative, interactive training courses, using the most effective approach to meet the desired objectives.

  • Author and manage storyboards and scripts.

  • Load courses and documentation to the LMS, interlinking content to internal and external content as needed.

  • Update/edit/maintain existing eLearning.

Learning Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Design assessment systems, methods and tools that allow leaders and staff to understand current skill levels and course effectiveness.

  • Ensure a robust evaluation framework for learning programmes to improve the quality of delivery and customer outcomes.

  • Continually evaluate, refine and communicate the learning solutions to ensure relevance, effectiveness and application.

  • Review and evolve learning evaluation methods to help embed learning and change.

Standards and Innovation:

  • Lead the development of standards for global WV curricula and Instructional design globally.

  • Actively identify key learning trends and best practices that could be adapted for WV and adopted.

  • Evaluate emerging learning technologies and conduct organizational analysis to identify readiness to implement.

  • Make or approve recommendations to enhance existing or create new learning solutions based on research.

Partnering and Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships across the business to develop a deep understanding of our operational context so that learning is real and relevant.

  • Engage with key stakeholders and SMEs across WV to develop productive and collaborative working relationships that inform learning solutions.

  • Provide input to the L&D team and L&D Network, in a way that builds a learning culture.

  • Integrate a continuous improvement mind-set into all in stakeholder conversations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or other training related degree.

  • 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, implementing and evaluating a broad range of creative, competency-based learning solutions (from immersive, simulation-based learning to bite-size, blended and e-learning), grounded in a 70/20/10 model.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), as well as experience with Adobe Captivate, Photoshop and Audition, Learning/Content Management Systems, LRS systems, and tincan/xAPI.

  • Demonstrated depth of experience and effectiveness in an international development context/organisation and knowledge of current trends and challenges, and best practice.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate within a complex and political stakeholder network, and to demonstrate presence and credibility across the organisation.

  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English, and demonstrated ability to communicate cross-culturally and be cross-culturally sensitive.

Director of Global Compliance

In connection with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) group, this position provides leadership for the WVI global compliance function. The Director will be expected to understand and evaluate WVI’s unique organizational environment, and apply a deep understanding of technical compliance principles to establish a recently developed function that will deliver an effective organization-wide compliance program. To accomplish these goals, the Director will need to possess a strong understanding of compliance best practices, and be able to exhibit creativity and strategic thinking in designing and implementing a framework that will enable the organization to effectively identify and manage its

internal and external requirements. The Director will be expected to act as a champion for fostering a culture of compliance in the organization. In particular, challenging existing negative perceptions of the compliance field, and demonstrating the benefits and value that a compliance practice can bring to WVI. This will include driving adherence to policy management standards, chairing the policy oversight committee, and advising stakeholders on policy development and revision. This role will also advise and support mandatory employee compliance training programmes ensuring a high degree of quality. This role will lead and support a network of Compliance Champions throughout the

organization who will act as focal points for their individual offices in leading the implementation and maintenance of local compliance functions and a compliance framework and monitoring tool.


  • Chair the policy coordination committee and act as a subject matter expert on policy management standards to ensure existing and new policies are in alignment.

  • Partner with a wide range of stakeholders and policy owners to advise on policy management and development best practices.

  • Maintain a network of partners and compliance champions throughout the organization to implement and support the Field Office Compliance Framework and monitoring tool.

  • Act in an advisory capacity to ensure employee training programmes and communications are effective at educating employees on expected behaviours.

  • Develop and deliver regular reporting to senior leadership and/or the Board on the effectiveness of the compliance program, highlighting any significant gaps requiring intervention.

  • Within the context of NGO Compliance practitioners and networking groups, act as a leader in developing sharing innovative best practices in place in World Vision.


  • Bachelor degree in finance, business, project management, security or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience leading a compliance programme or related function.

  • Membership in a global compliance institute/organization.

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies that produce results.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in setting strategic goals, measures of success and priorities.

  • Ability to understand and align cross-functional strategic priorities.

  • Knowledge and experience in managing a compliance function.

  • Ability to effectively engage with executive level management in championing compliance and implementing it as relatively new discipline in the organization.

  • Experience in managing stakeholders and business units to achieve results.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Externally recognized compliance certification or qualification preferred.

  • International and/or prior experience working with an INGO.
