PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Project Manager II role is responsible for the management of one or more medium to large-sized, moderate to high complex projects and Tier 2 project budget.

Individuals within the Project Management job family are responsible for the planning, development and implementation of project efforts. They develop, establish and maintain project management standards and procedures. They are responsible for developing the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Other responsibilities include the refinement of requirements, project coordination, development of plans and schedules, resource planning and estimation and project maintenance.

Once a project is set in motion, individuals are expected to communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team and conduct regular status meetings to review project activities. Furthermore, they are responsible for managing the prioritization procedures for changing scope (i.e., change management) and project acceptance procedures. Near the end of the project, they obtain feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost and performance.

They have a sound understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationship Management:

  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business owners, project sponsors, vendors and key clients.

Project Planning:

  • Develops, and continually updates, project plans and schedules.

Risk Management:

  • Identifies the elements of risk in a project.

Budget:

  • Estimates costs associated with a project including physical, financial and human capital costs.

Finance Assistant – Cost Allocation and WVUS Settlement Advice

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will be responsible for performing cost allocation data processing, review and analysis. By using data consolidation and reconciliation tools such as Cost Allocation Infor BI Q&A Tools, this position will perform tasks on behalf of the Field Offices as part of Global Finance Solutions’ (GFS) centralization support for the field.

This position will also be responsible for processing Settlement Advices on behalf of World Vision U.S.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • CAL Centralization – performing cost allocation run/process on behalf of the Field Offices. It acts as a shared service team catering to majority of Field Offices in the partnership.

  • Coordinate adjustments with the FO’s on any issues related to A-codes and T-codes invalid combinations and errors.

  • Prepare and review the Cost Allocation PMQA tools design template on the 1st week of each month.

  • Run the Cost Allocation (CAL) review and reconciliation tool and ensure that the control figures are consistent accurate.

  • Perform Ledger Import and Ledger Import Validation.

  • Run LEH Validation Tool before final posting. Run the Cost Allocation Reconciliation Template when necessary.

  • Prepare issue logs for all issues encountered during the CAL run period.

  • Do other tasks that involves initiatives of the CAL Centralization Team and Global Finance Solutions (GFS).

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Individuals working in an Application Developer II role work on multiple small to large, complex projects as a team member, sometimes as a project lead. Individuals working as an Application Developer II require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possess knowledge of a specific business area.

Individuals must be able to adjust to constant business change and as needed to proactively plan for changes that are likely to occur. Common types of changes include introduction of new organizations through mergers and acquisitions, the separation of parts of organization (as subsidiaries, or when the business changes direction), evolving goals and strategies and emerging technologies. These changes require integration of solutions that can impact the overall system development activity. Application Developers also provide client support, consultation and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance and support.

Individuals within the Application Development job family work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and are in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards. Application Developers are involved in the full systems life cycle and therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Finance Assistant – BR and CAL Centralization

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will be responsible for performing bank reconciliation and cost allocation data processing, review and analysis. By using data consolidation and reconciliation tools such as SunSystems Bank Reconciliation Manager module, and Cost Allocation PMQA Tools, this position will perform tasks on behalf of the Field Offices as part of GFS centralization support for the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconcile bank accounts on behalf of Field offices using the automated procedures of the Sun6 Bank Reconciliation Manager utility. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Directly accessing Field offices’ bank statements (thru bank’s online facility) and cash ledger in Sun6.

  • Loading all required data in Sun6 and managing the reconciliation of accounts using Bank Recon Manager Facility.

  • Extracting all reconciling items in Sun6 using PMQA template.

  • Analyzing and monitoring bank reconciling items. This includes close engagement with FOs (and or region) to clear these items.

  • Assisting the FOs on the accounting entries needed to clear bank reconciling items.

  • Posting of final bank reconciliation reports in the FFR database and communicating with FOs.

  • Identify, raise/flag, follow-up and clear differences on the bank account balance and the office’s financial records as part of internal control.

Prepare and review the Cost Allocation PMQA tools design template on the 1st week of each month.

Run the Cost Allocation (CAL) review and reconciliation tool and ensure that the control figures are consistent accurate.

Lead Business Intelligence Developer / DBA

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position has 2 primary responsibilities. One is that of a database administrator and the other as a database developer.

As developer, this position will help identify and translate all business requirements and specifications pre-defined by the project lead into strategic technical solutions. This will require in-depth technical experience in but not limited to SQL (2008 R2, 2012) as back-end, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS Azure and other BI tools (Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI, Tabular) as front-end medium of reporting and analysis.

As a database administrator,this position will be responsible for database maintenance, MDM, datawarehouse design, end-user database support, database continuous improvements, database upgrades, and streamlining the SQL administration processes in collaboration with appropriate database administrators in Global Centre.

To accomplish the main responsibilities, this position will partner with project leaders, analysts and other key stakeholders to understand key business processes, data sources, reporting needs, and delivery solution options.

This position will perform quality assurance on the work of the junior developers and/or admin associates within the team, and will serve as advisor/consultant to the stakeholder groups on SQL development related work.

Capital Markets Analyst, VisionFund International

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This role will support the Capital Markets function within VisionFund's Global Finance department, under the general supervision from the Capital Markets Manager. The candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering key finance initiatives mainly related to lender engagement, such as covenant compliance, preparation of reports and presentations, coordination of lender due diligence, and reviewing and supporting the treasury function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support external lender engagement at the MFI level and Global Centre (GC):

  • Support Capital Markets Manager on GC lender engagement such as coordinating bespoke lender requests, due diligence, etc.

  • Support the executing/closing loan transactions with GC lenders by coordinating within different areas of VFI and facilitating the gathering of information required.

  • Support organizing lender activities (due diligence visits, investor days, road shows, meetings/calls with lenders).

  • Responsible for performing KYC (know your customer) on lenders at the GC level. This includes performing background checks on the lender organization etc.

  • Responsible for performing due diligence on new lenders to the MFI network.

The Sponsorship Production Operations Manager is a significant and emerging leadership role in the production of over 8 million digital and printed engagement features for child sponsors each year.

App Product Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

We are looking for an App Product Manager to join our team in World Vision during this exciting time of organisation-wide digital transformation and revitalisation of World Vision’s child sponsorship experience.

The App Product Manager (IT Manager III) role is responsible for leading the design and development of the new global Mobile App for World Vision in alignment with agreed global roadmap and strategic goals of the organization. In collaboration with stakeholders across local and global teams, this role will provide global leadership in the intersection of marketing and technology and will be responsible for successful delivery of the global Mobile App product to be launched to World Vision child sponsors in several markets within the next year.

This role has a responsibility for activities that contribute to planning, creating and implementing an IT vision and strategy for global Mobile App aligned with the company’s strategic business plan. They own the development of global standards, technology architecture, technology evaluation and deployment as well as user interface and experience of the global Mobile App. They manage small to large teams of people responsible for developing and delivering IT solutions for the business and customers. Each role within this job family provides technical and business leadership to their organizations as well as to the business.

App Product Manager is involved in the full systems life cycle of the global Mobile App and therefore are responsible with the assigned teams and partners for user experience and interface design, business and technical requirements, technical design, coding, testing, and implementation that is delivered according to business requirements on time, within budget and in alignment with the agreed roadmap and strategic goals. Responsibilities include participation in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes and buy vs. build recommendations as well as user testing and related user experience and interface enhancements. Individuals

also provide input to project plans related to the global Mobile App initiative.

IT Leaders are also responsible for analyzing trends in technology, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business, providing solutions to address technology and business issues, and managing financial resources while ensuring the development of high-quality technology solutions. These solutions must be developed at the best possible cost and be aligned with customer and business needs while establishing relationships with employees and key internal and external stakeholders. They are also responsible for participating and leading the development of an IT governance framework that defines the working relationships and sharing of IT components among various IT groups within the organization.

To be successful, individuals must possess a combination of business, technical and leadership skills and competencies. This requires an understanding of client’s business needs, processes and functions. They also need a solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, applications development and support, networks, and computer operations. In addition, individuals working in this job family must have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business and IT Strategy:

  • Implements the tactical components of the IT strategy at an Enterprise level.

  • Works with business partners across fundraising offices and global functions to understand business needs.

  • Develops high level scope, leads product roadmap and defines backlog items that guide the Agile software development team.

  • Manages the development and implementation of global Mobile App to support business strategy.

Change Management:

  • Embraces and executes change through frequent, communication to staff and clients about the change and the impact of the change (individual and business).

  • Consistently advocates for the change.

  • Coaches staff through the change.

  • Identifies and removes obstacles to change.

Governance:

  • Provides input into demand management process and executes on plan.

Architecture & Design:

  • Provides input to technology planning within a functional area.

  • Implements solutions consistent within current context of overall architecture

  • Identifies and oversees documentation of business and technical requirements.

  • Oversees creation and review of technical design specifications and signs off final requirements

  • Identifies better sources of data feeds and interfaces with architects to ensure their feasibility with corporate data warehouse, when needed.

  • Influences in planning with Architecture team to define, plan, analyze, implement and operationalize enterprise data model.

Project Planning:

  • Participates in all project planning processes within a functional area.

  • Leads strategic planning and provides guidance and expertise on UX/UI, system options, risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts on business processes and goals.

User Experience:

  • Oversees user experience and user interface design, development and enhancements in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Possesses a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies

Process Improvements:

  • Implements defined process improvements.

  • Increases understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends.

Finance:

  • Participates in the development of IT budgets.

  • Tracks and takes appropriate steps to stay within budget.

  • Provides high-quality services at optimal cost to customers.

  • Measures service performance and implements improvements.

IT Technology Development:

  • Develops and implements technologies to improve the performance of a business efficiency and effectiveness.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs):

  • Participates and provides input to the SLA development process.

  • Ensures internal SLAs are met.

Vendor Management:

  • Provides advice and counsel to the vendor relationship decision-making and contract development processes.

  • Reviews service provider performance.

  • Identifies and confirms performance problems and notifies contract managers.

Resource Management:

  • Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses.

  • Discusses work progress and obstacles.

  • Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.

  • Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.

  • Establishes measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals.

  • Documents and presents performance assessments.

  • Recognizes and rewards associates commensurate with performance.

  • Implements organizational practices for staffing, EEO, diversity, performance management, development, reward and recognition, and retention.

Workforce Planning:

  • Identifies the roles, skills and knowledge required to achieve goals.

  • Ensures staff has the resources and skills needed to support all work initiatives within the assigned function or Center of Competency (COC).

  • Participates in IT workforce deployment activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Master’s (or Bachelor’s) Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

  • Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.

  • Typically has 7 to 10 years of relevant IT and business work experience.

  • Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver a single IT project on time and within budget with a customer-first mindset.

  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
