World Vision’s Emergency Response Roster is comprised of highly experienced and vetted humanitarian aid professionals available for short term, medium term, and long term emergency response assignments with World Vision. This roster allows World Vision to more rapidly identify and hire for key positions in its humanitarian response offices.

If selected, eligible applicants will first be fully vetted and then approved for the Emergency Response Roster. As vacancies arise in our humanitarian offices, roster members will be considered for employment opportunities.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements for all Emergency Response Roster Positions:

  • 5+ years of cross cultural humanitarian emergency experience outside of your home country.

  • Minimum 2 years experience serving successfully in fragile or unstable environments.

  • Experience directly managing staff during humanitarian emergency responses.

  • Ability to work long hours in stressful environments with a variety of skilled professionals.

  • Demonstrated management of budgets in emergency response settings.

  • Willing to serve unaccompanied; most likely in a team house setting.

  • English proficiency; written and verbal.

  • Grant Acquisition Management experience in your personalized expertise.

  • Strong track record in developing good working relationships with governmental institutions and multilateral agencies.

Channel Optimization Program Advisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Partnership Channel Optimization Program Advisor leads and supports global working groups and fundraising offices across the World Vision partnership to develop, execute, track, and report on channel optimization projects to increase revenue growth.

Responsible for working with marketing and technical resources in support offices across multiple countries, you will be a key partner in refining the global marketing program strategy to grow both participation and revenue while measuring and reporting on the global impact of channel optimization tests.

You will collaborate with fundraisers across the partnership, developing localized optimization plans in alignment with, and building on, global-level channel optimization strategies and resources required to scale successful programs.

This role will also be responsible for leading and coordinating the partnership’s Global 6K For Water working group, scaling the program across multiple partnership offices for growth in participation and revenue year-over-year.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITES:

Lead development, testing, execution and communications for Channel Lead Generation and Cultivation Optimization and Performance Program.

  • Lead and coordinate global working groups responsible for Optimization programmes.

  • Collaborate with Support (fundraising) Offices and global teams to develop, implement and monitor localized optimization plans.

  • Act as subject matter expert / central resource for working group and Partnership offices.

  • Facilitate feedback cycle to support ongoing refinement of global marketing program strategy.

Lead and coordinate development and testing of experience and growth strategies for scaling of World Vision’s Global 6k For Water program across the partnership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or closely related field. (Highly relevant professional experience may substitute in part for education; this will be evaluated on a case by case basis.)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of core marketing and sales strategies and tactics.

  • Agile Project Management – the ability to effectively manage large, complex projects is critical to success in this role, as is the ability to effectively incorporate continual improvement through ongoing testing and multiple feedback loops.

Global Procurement Administrator

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Contribute to the operational excellence and effectiveness of the Global Procurement Office by conducting ongoing and ad-hoc data reporting for analysis, monitoring, researching, and management purposes. Become proficient in the use of ProVision, aiding the Master Data Administrator in updating ProVision Item Catalog information and occasionally assisting WVI staff members in the creation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and the closing of Purchase Orders (POs). Participate in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide backup support to the Global Purchasing Assistant, Master Data Administrator, and Procurement Coordinator as needed. Contribute to and potentially manage various continuous improvement projects within the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and maintain master data records as ProVision Administrator:

  • Audit WVI item database and upgrade information as needed. Run reconciliation reports to ensure consistency between up to date item order forms and COUPA/ProVision master data.

  • Create and maintain “Bulk Upload” templates for qualifying GPO and GIS supplier catalog items.

  • Understand the end to end processes and how the master data functionality impacts all downstream systems and transactions.

  • Support data entry into COUPA/ProVision templates for the various modules (i.e. Supplier, Item, Price, Remit-To Address, Contract, Savings percentage and Content Group).

  • Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in COUPA/ProVision.

  • Troubleshoot issues in COUPA/ProVision and assist in supporting the execution of the Source to Pay (S2P) process.

  • Perform spend analysis to identify opportunities for new global contracts, using ProVision data.

Create and maintain training guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the GPO and Shared Services Teams:

  • Bulk Upload

  • Contract Creation/Deactivation

  • PR Creation

  • Supplier Registration

  • Coordinate with outside vendors/suppliers and the Master Data Administrator to establish item catalogs, aiding the process of activating, deactivating and updating items as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Required:

  • College degree preferably Business or Supply Chain related.

  • Excellent in MS Office with Intermediate/Advance Excel Skills. (Example: Sum, Average, Count, Create Tables, Create Headers, Create formulas between tabs or separate spreadsheets, Sort, Filter, Color code, Format Painter, duplicate formulas for whole rows or columns, Create Pivot tables, VLookup, IF statements, Create Charts and Graphs, What If analysis, Data Validation, Protect Workbook and Freeze Panes).

  • Strong analytical skills - able to analyze large data sets, using critical thinking and Excel functions.

Preferred:

Project Director, World Vision Mexico

Purpose Of Position

The position of Project Director will be expected to lead and provide strategic leadership to the anticipated Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL, or the Department), cooperative agreement that aims to economically empower vulnerable women and girls.

The objective of the project is to reduce the risk of child labor, forced labor, and other violations of labor rights for vulnerable women and girls within the agricultural sector.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage proactive and responsive relationship with grant donor in close collaboration with World Vision National Office staff

  • Direct and oversee grant implementation, ensuring that all strategic objectives are met through proper design, staffing, implementation and quality assurance

  • Research new funding opportunities and develop and write funding proposals, if second phase of the grant or cost extension is planned

  • Supervise a team of senior level international and national staff with skills across a diverse set of technical areas

  • Ensure proper technical capacity of staff to manage complex donor-funded projects

  • Lead grant staff and short-term consultants

  • Establish and maintain effective project reporting, evaluation, and communication systems. Submit timely accurate and professional reports that meet donor requirements

  • Manage grant/project budget within approved spending levels and ensure accurate and timely financial reports to donors and SO staff.

  • Ensure grant/project expenses are reasonable, allocated as per assigned budget, prudent and spent in accordance with donor rules and regulations to ensure low risk audits

  • Liaise with local government officials, local communities, donor representatives and other stakeholders as appropriate

  • Consistently look for more effective and efficient implementation methods and opportunities to increase impact

  • Participate and conduct on-going lessons learned with key staff and partners/sub-grantees

  • Serve as primary liaison to [THE DONOR], local and national governmental authorities, local NGOs, community organizations, Facilitate learning of best practices on program’s technical areas. And other donor organizations.

  • Provide vision and strategic technical leadership for the project.

  • Close cooperation with NO GAM lead for implementation of the GAM objectives as well as close collaboration within the NO GAM Unit on donor positioning, lessons learned, grant health and quality improvements

  • Establish clear and frequent communication regarding program progress and oversight management with the donor.

Minimum Education, Training And Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management, supervision, administration, and implementation of cooperative agreement and/or contract requirements (including meeting deadlines, achieving targets, establishing and maintaining systems for managing project operations, working with multiple subgrantee(s) and/or contractor(s), and overseeing the preparation and submission of required reports to donor agencies), preferably in the country of implementation.

  • Experience establishing and maintaining systems for managing project operations.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role for a project addressing labor-related issues, including child labor, forced labor, or workplace exploitation.

  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain working relationships with all project stakeholders, and engages in coalition building and public-private partnership promotion.

  • Understanding of agricultural supply chains, gender mainstreaming, and/or women’s economic empowerment.

  • Proficiency with public speaking is preferred.

  • University and/or Master's Studies

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
