Intern for Lezha Area Program

Purpose of the position

This position aim is to provide timely and qualitative support Lezha Area Program team in day to day Sponsorship processes

Major Responsibilities

  • Support Child Sponsorship project activities in collaboration with other team members in supporting that all registered children enjoy a good health, are well educated, are cared for, well-protected and participate in Area Program activities.

  • Be responsible for Sponsorship products (Introductory letter (IL), Sponsor letter (SL), Electronic Letter (EL), Gift Notification (GN), Holds).

  • Support in child monitoring and Annual Progress Report processes.

  • Support the Area Program team & community stakeholders in planning, organizing and conducting all activities related to sponsorship and other AP projects, ensuring the participation of all registered children.

  • Support the Team in meeting the key indicators of Child Sponsorship, according to the standard.

  • Support the work of the Area Program Sponsorship Team to register children in the program.

  • Address to AP Team Leader the issues founded in the area about the most vulnerable children in the community.

  • Communicate effectively World Vision’s identity, mission, vision, values and our approach to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master degree in social sciences, or a related field

  • Strong communicator and team player

  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Good organizing and planning skills

  • Very good verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Highly motivated with willing to succeed

  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of English (spoken and written)

  • Excellent documentation/writing skills

  • Understanding on child rights/approaches in working with children

  • Creative and able to apply innovative thinking
