SKYE PROJECT COORDINATOR
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The SKYE Project Coordinator will manage the overall project implementation and will coach and mentor club volunteer facilitators during the implementation of the project. Through coordination with relevant stakeholders ensure all project outcomes are reached within the proposed timeframe and with sufficient quality. This project is supported by GIZ.
Provide technical input and manage the overall project implementation on developing/revising SKYE CLUB models.
Support effective implementation of TechnicalProjectactivities, and implementation of SKYE CLUB model, ensuring timeliness, efficiency and good quality of work.
Mentor SKYE CLUB senior facilitators and club volunteers, collect reports and monitors how SKYE Clubs are going in their context, and generally serve as a networker, coordinator and administrator.
Lead the process in close collaboration with Employment Office representatives and senior Skye Club facilitators on the revising and updating the Skye club curricula.
Work closely with Technical staff Project of Enhancing Youth Socio Economic Integration (GIZ Project), World Vision Kosovo Program team and provide expertise to the field staff and partners on Skye Club Model and related issues.
Develop Terms of References for service providers/ contractors during the life time of the project, supervise and monitor delivery and quality of provided service related directly to interventions within Technical Project funded by GIZ.
Provide technical support and expertise in maintaining external relations with key national and local actors and other Stakeholders.
Prepare, lead and facilitate presentations for sharing best practices within Technical project team and Skye club members.
Actively participate in different project meetings, and reflections related to or including Skye Club project area.
Support implementation of capacity building plans for Skye Club senior facilitators and volunteers.
Facilitate and document learning across all aspects of the project to inform planning and decision-making.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor degree in business, in social science and other related study fields. A master study in business related fields is an advantage. Qualification in youth work would be highly valued.
At least two years working experience in youth development projects.
Experience on understanding the culture and conditions in area of implemented project ;
Knowledge of experiential education methodologies;
Understanding of approaches to positive youth development;
Recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building for staff and communities;
Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including sampling, survey design, data analysis, and the application of these methods to project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation standards.
Understanding of local economic development approaches and methods;
Experience in supporting young people with developing appropriate life and work readiness skills;
Good computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Good knowledge of English and local languages.
Driving license with more than 2 years of active driving experience.
