Purpose of the position
Provide overall leadership and management of integrated socio-economic support to landmine victims in BiH Project funded by EC.
Ensure high quality project implementation with due respect to donor requirements and WVI regulations and standards,
Ensure integration of project activities with other World Vision International BiH Technical Programs.
Together with relevant Area Program managers and Technical Program Managers ensure effective consultations with communities, partners and donors.
Establish and maintain good collaboration with donor and respective World Vision support office;
Maintain written track record of all project-related communication and agreements.
Keep all project-related documentation on file
Together with DME Manager develop project monitoring system.
Review on regular basis project details, deliverables and scheduled s as per project Implementation Plan.
Ensure progress and final reports are produced on time, in quality manner as per donor requirements.
Provide regular inputs to Grant Health Tracker
Contribute to Annual Child Well-Being (CWB) reporting
Oversee project budgets including procurement of goods and services and tracking of financial and material resources
Approve project expenditures
Prepare justifications for cost modification requests (in collaboration with finance) and submit it to donor.
Ensure full compliance with donor financial requirements
Manage working relationships with Project partner, sectoral partners and government representatives on national and local level.
Facilitate partner mapping for Landmine Victims Assistance (LVA) sector.
Provide support to Livelihood and Resilience Program Manager with implementation of local level advocacy initiatives.
Attend donor meetings and training's as needed.
Lead Project Implementation team towards the achievements of program objectives with high quality standards
In line with WVs standards for leadership framework provide leadership for project staff and Project partner.
Ensure technical staff and Project partner are equipped to deliver job requirements
In line with WV’s capacity building plan support professional and personal development of staff.
Conduct ongoing performance conversations with staff; provide performance agreement feedback, midterm evaluations and annual reviews to the staff.
Ensure staff wellbeing and security is promoted.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
University degree in, economics, management, social or technical sciences. Master degree in relevant field would be an advantage
At least five years of management experience and working experience in Landmine Victims Assistance sector.
Significant experience of working in the development context, preferably on implementation of EC-funded projects
At least five years of practical experience in socio-economic empowerment of Landmine Victims, community development, consultation and partnership development.
Experience of project/program concept development and management
Experience in partnering with organizations of persons with disabilities
Experience with INGO, NGO or GO on banning landmines and providing assistance to landmine victims.
Experience in advocating for implementation of National LMVA Strategy, Mine ban Treaty and International Convention on human rights of persons with disabilities.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft suite.
Well-developed knowledge of English and local languages
Valid driving license

Excellent coordination skills
Experience in coalition building and ability to rally coalitions and networks to take positions on specific policy issues.
