Field Monitor




  • To monitor food /cash and non-food distribution and support the monitoring of food security in the targeted project areas for the well- being of children, families and communities

Sensitize traders in the area of work on the project and its approach

  • Traders are well familiar with the project and the approach


Ensure registration of beneficiaries for any distributions using LMMS system

  • All beneficiaries are timely registered using LMMS


Ensure that distributors complete all forms and records pertaining to distributions. These forms must be completed and updated periodically as required.

  • All distribution documents are timely well filed and filled


Ensure proper accounting of all quantities of vouchers received and distributed at each centre/distribution site.

-All quantities of vouchers to be distributed at each distribution site are well calculated according to the number of beneficiaries at each distribution site before 2 weeks for any distribution


In collaboration with Communal Project Officer, ensure documentation of commodity transactions and submit reports regularly.

  • The distribution report related to the commodity transactions is regularly submitted(3 days after the distribution)


Ensure that warehouses/ stores at field level are well managed and they meet basic safety regulations.

  • The standards of warehouse management is followed:-Ledger book, stack cards, stock card, loss register and all related documents are timely updated


Ensure timely payment of beneficiaries of cash for work component in liaison with mobile network provider selected

  • All beneficiaries are paid via mobile cash transfer in liaison with mobile network provider selected


Produce monthly reports in compliance with WV policies to the Grants Coordinator

  • The Provincial Project Officer receive the monthly report timely(according to WV policies


Actively engage in promotion of Food Security interventions in the Community

  • The promotion of food Security interventions is understood in the community


Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:

  • Minimum Qualification required:

A2 Diploma in agriculture or equivalent certificate

  • Experience: have a minimum of two years field experience

  • Preferred: Working experience in humanitarian affairs preferably in food/voucher distribution. Excellent timely and accurately monitoring and evaluating food and non-food commodity transactions.

List additional work experience required as a minimum qualification for this position.

  • Must have a motorcycle driving license

  • Experience gained with NGOs particularly World Vision would be an advantage.

  • Good listening skills and capacity to observe and analyze complex situations.

  • Computer skills (Ms Word, Ms Excel, etc) required.

  • Ability to speak, read and write both in French and English.

List academic, technical skills or other knowledge preferred for this position.

  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
