Food Assistance and Information Reporting Officer
Purpose of the position
Administer and manage the Last Mile Mobile Solutions (LMMS)and Commodity Tracking System (CTS) databases in WV and provide technical support ensuring accurate tracking procedures as well as accounting for cash and food transactions in compliance with laid down procedures and donor regulations
End Results Expected
Responsible for data integrity within the LMMS and CTS systems.
Monthly reports are submitted and uploaded in Food Grants Database on time
Perform in country LMMS installation within World Vision and provide end use technical support to ensure a smooth operation of the system.
Perform database consolidations and generate monthly and quarterly cash/commodity reports for WV as per donor regulation.
Accurate monthly reports and back up are produced from the system
Ensure that cash/commodity reports are accurate and reliable.
Review invoices and submit to WFP
Perform invoice payments reconciliations with WV Finance
Prepare the Commodity Status Report and send to the senior Commodity Accountability Reporting Officer for review before sending for approval to WFP and submission to Support Office
Conduct regular trainings to WV staff and maintain training documents and materials.
Other staffs as field monitors are trained on the elementary details of the tool utilization
Maintain a clear accounting and documentation process.
Documents are well filled and filed
Work with the Grant Supervisor to supervise and provide training for all other project staff
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
A Bachelor’s degree from a University in ICT.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with and international NGO in the same field of operations
Technical Skills & Abilities:
In-depth working knowledge of LMMS software.
Good working knowledge of the WVI Commodity Manual.
Strong knowledge and experience in using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and databases
Knowledge of Commodity Accounting System and procedures
Ability to achieve pre-defined results and outcomes using ethical, best practice methods.
Ability to demonstrate personal integrity and trustworthiness.
Ability to identify gaps, trends, priorities and key issues.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
Ability to respect and relate to people of other faiths.
Ability to prioritize many demands without losing focus.
Strong analytical skills.

Must be a team player, and honest with a high level of integrity

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience
A qualification in business or accounting is an added advantage
3-5 years HEA management experience in an INGO
Travel: 10% Domestic/international travel is required.
On call: 10%
