Position: Facilitator for Urban Vision Team Leader
Location: Urban Vision Initiative, Phnom Penh
Salary & Benefit Package: 585 USD – 732 USD dependent on professional experience and qualifications
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide leadership and programme oversight to FUVs to ensure community mobilization, community empowerment & ownership approach, and key programme focus of the AP is applied with quality and contribute to the sustained well-being of vulnerable children.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide programmatic support and guidance to FUVs to ensure strengthened community mobilization, ownership and sustainability to contribute to the well-being of vulnerable children aligned with the Area Programme focus and plan and World Vision’s National Strategy.
To lead FUVs to develop and strengthen partnerships within the AP’s target area and ensure that communities are ready for partnering and are implementing and increasingly owning community development.
To ensure that the progress, lessons learned and evidence base from project implementation are strong, well tracked and documented and shared.
To ensure the timely and quality of sponsorship operations business through integrated to other development activities.
To ensure that the team spirit and relationships with local authorities are built and maintained.
Bachelor degree in rural development or Development Management Study or social science.
Knowledge in Transformational Development, Community Mobilization and empowerment concept.
Effective Communication, Facilitation, and coaching skills.
Intermediate competency in English (oral and written).
Understand rural context and rural community people
At least 2 years’ experience in community development and mobilization, especially in poor/rural communities.
Supervisory experience of team/staff
Project management including assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing
