Project Team Leader for Improving Maternal and Child Health

World Vision is an international Christians Humanitarian Organization working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation and seek justice. Our Cambodia Office is seeking for One (1) qualified national candidate to fill in the position below:

Position: Project Team Leader

Location: Takeo Operations, Takeo Province

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide basic and technical supports to Project Coordinators to implement the project activities and technical health models. Also communicate with relevant government parties and make it easy for the project activities to be well and smoothly implemented.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage the project planning budgeting implementation, monitoring and evaluation aligned with the agreed objective of the project and its indicator.

  2. Monitor project progress, produce informative reports.

  3. Provide on-site technical and training support to Project Coordinators, including adoption of common standards and tools and input on innovative practices.

  4. Participate/ facilitate regular health network meetings.

  5. Build and maintain strong relationship with PHD/OD/HCs/VHSGs/Commune Councils

  6. Support the health team at the ADP to work in close alignment with the TP and TA document for Health integrated with WASH of LEAP 3.

  7. Network and coordinate with relevant government bodies and build partnership relationships with other organizations whose strategic focus and values are complementary to that of World Vision.

  8. Actively develop and manage project team of project management competent.

  9. Support professional and personal development of project staff

III. REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelors degree in health related field, preferably Masters in public health.

  2. At least 3 years experiences in the field of Health/Nutrition and 2 years experiences of sectoral/appropriate professional experience.

  3. Eexperience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing.

  4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  5. Competent in English language and computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)

  6. Willing to travel.
