Salary & Benefit Package: USD 1702 – USD 2128 (Alignment/decision based on professional experience, qualifications and organisational policy)
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Senior Manager for Zone will provide Leadership and management oversight to Area
Programs, programs and projects in the assigned zone.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality programs and impacts:
Ensure that the projects and departments within the zonal area are implementing high quality, best-practice projects that are community-based, focused on the well-being of children and emphasize the meaningful Participation and empowerment of children and their families.
Coordinate and collaborate closely with Technical Program Officers in day to day work to ensure that programs have adequate management and technical support in areas technical sectors to support to Area Program managers and teams in the field
Area Programs will require diversify funding sources to achieve the greatest impact for children including Grant, Private non sponsorship, Gift-in-Kinds, and others. It is expected that Senior Manager Zone will ensure effective grant and Private Non Sponsorship management that need to be designed and implemented in ways that meet or exceed donor requirements and complement Area Program Plans.

Model Christ-centred servant leadership and support spiritual development of his/her team and act as a role model in advocating/ promoting the organization and stakeholder transformation according to organizations vision and core values.
Teambuilding and leadership:
Build cooperation, team spirit and a supportive, learning environment in the Program and within World Vision in general Facilitate a supportive environment for the spiritual formation of staff, the internalisation of World Vision’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Stewardship and financial management.
Lead and support in coordination of overall budget planning and management for Area Programs and related projects, in line with World Vision partnership and World Vision requirements and procedures for multi-year and annual budgeting.
Government Relations, Partner Agency and NGO Relations.
Support office and donor relations.Develop and maintain relationships with SOs and ensure that AP Managers have strong relationships with WV support offices and donors, including ensuring each project is in regular communication, hosts effective visits, respond to queries, and meets funding requirements.
III. REQUIREMENTS: Education, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Rural Development/other relevant sector field of study. Master’s Degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in development sector and 3+ years in management and leading a team.
Excellent relational skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment, and ability to work well with national and international staff.
Strong strategic and operational planning skills and ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
Able to work as part of a team as a positive contributor/ encourager, coaching and team handling skills.
Experience in representation to government, donor and other partners.
Demonstrated experience in programme monitoring, evaluation and report writing.
