Position: Strategic Planning and Realization Manager

Location: National Office

Contract: UDC- Undefined Duration Contract

Salary: Negotiable

I. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To ensure national alignment to World Vision’s global strategy and that WVI in Cambodia’s strategy is applied and monitored in ways that maximise progress towards national strategic objectives, mitigate risk and maximise use of evidence.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Revising and/or developing multi-year strategy to guide WVI-C’s ministry and development efforts in Cambodia based on WVI’s strategy cycle, processes and requirements.

Monitoring the strategic landscape and coordinating actions with senior leadership to respond to strategic changes.

Leading strategy management through periodic business planning, monitoring and reporting processes.

Leading the annual process of Area Programme Planning ensuring all WVI-C Area Programme Plans are based on context and Child Well Being (CWB) data analysis and maximise use of all funding sources to achieve CWB impact.

Co-leading process excellence strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and maximise ministry impact.

Leading capacity building to Strategy Management Unit and AP Planning staff, and as relevant project and programme managers.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organisation.

Degree in a development-related field and management studies.

Strategic Business Planning and Management

Project Management including design, monitoring and evaluation

Business Process Improvement

The leadership of organizational change in cross-cultural settings

Capacity building and facilitation skills

Microsoft Office

Communications skills especially in English

Requires 5 year experience in relief/development/local community

Track record of engagement with an executive leadership team

A mature and committed Christian who can lead spiritual nurture activities
