Position: Economics Resilience and Livelihood (ERL) Technical Specialist for Savings Group and Graduation Approach
Location: Phnom Penh
Salary & Benefit Package: USD 970– USD 1,212 per month dependent on your experience and qualifications
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Technical Specialist provides leadership and support to WVI staff and ensuring development of a strong technical approach on Savings Groups and Graduation Approach to programming and quality implementation, resulting in improved child well-being outcomes.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Technical Manager to take a leading role in development and review of country-wide sector strategies through Technical or Supporting Approaches and Technical Programs in relation to Savings Group and Graduation Approach project models
Provide leadership in establishing strong technical capacity in technical projects, ensuring design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation that are aligned with Technical or Supporting Approach and Technical Programs in relation to Savings Group and Graduation Approach project models
Collaborate with other sectors and teams (DME, sponsorship, grant acquisition, etc) to ensure mainstreaming and integration of technical or supporting area.
Represent WVI in strategic technical networks that enable WV to learn from industry good practice, contribute to shaping national thinking and approaches and increase WVI influence and advocacy.
Bachelor degree on economic development sector or any other relevant field
At least 5 years experiences in Savings Groups, Graduation Approach or livelihood programming
Experiences in implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing
Proven professional experiences that support success of Savings Groups and farmers
Excellent interpersonal, representational, advocacy and networking skills with cross cultural sensitivity.
Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write fluently in English.
