Position: Learning & Development Manager
Location: Phnom Penh
Salary & Benefit Package: 970-1,212 USD
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To lead the learning and development component of P&C, in coordination with the P&C Director. This will include creating a holistic strategy for how learning occurs across WVI-Cambodia with a particular focus on management/leadership development, strengthening the environment and culture of learning, and overseeing the effectiveness of the financial resources invested in L&D initiatives
.II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive strategy and approach to developing managers and leaders across WVI-C, in coordination with P&C Director
Develop plan and approach for strengthening the learning environment in WVI-C
Provide leadership to the financial resources for learning and development initiatives in WVI-C
Contribute actively as member of P&C Management Team
University degree (Preferred to be in HR Management)
Excellent interpersonal and relational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to organise work priorities, manage competing priorities and deliver on commitments
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, orally and in writing
Broad HR knowledge combined with critical thinking skills to relate HR areas with broader WV and humanitarian context
Knowledge of learning and development theories, including adult learning methodologies
Proficient in coaching, influencing, facilitating, presenting, training, analysis and problem solving
Computer skills, especially with Word, Excel, Powerpoint as well as internet navigation and electronic records management
Knowledge of World Vision and humanitarian industry
At least 4+ years’ experience in Human Resources field
2+ years’ experience supervisory/management experience
Professional Certificate in Human Resources
As part of the World Vision Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organization.
