Position: People and Culture Technical Specialist

Location: National Office, Phnom Penh

Salary & Benefit Package: USD 749 – USD 775

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To analyze, research and develop appropriate fit-for-service P&C tools and resources. This work will be in the following areas: employee engagement, recruitment strategies and tools, workforce planning, employee relations (investigations), performance management, staff care and people-related data management.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage strategic workforce planning and people-related budgeting process for WVI-Cambodia.

  2. Develop and update recruitment tools and strategy.

  3. Performance management - prepare and plan for annual cycle

  4. Research tools designed for incident management/investigations/employee relations cases- both P&C tools as well as tools exiting in other departments.

  5. Develop calendar and timeline for the annual OurVoice employee engagement survey, also analyse and report exit survey data for improving retention and addressing issues.

  6. Develop strategy and approach for building staff resilience and overall approach to stress management and critical incident support.

  7. Review occupational health and safety practices and coordinate with Security Manager for any changes.

  8. Research culturally appropriate support for stress and trauma in Cambodia, ensuring readiness and sharing of information.

  9. Analyze people-related data and prepare reports including identifying trends and areas for attention.

  10. Coordinate people-related data management processes and tools

  11. Contribute as active member of P&C team, through role modelling professionalism, customer support and team work.

III. REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor degree in Business Admin HR or Statistic.

  2. Experience in organizing work, researching, analyzing and developing tools and resources that are fit for service

  3. Excellent in analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal and relational skills.

  4. Good at Computer skills, especially with Word, Excel, Powerpoint as well as internet navigation and electronic records management.

  5. Knowledge of World Vision and humanitarian industry (preferred).

  6. At least 2 years experiences in Human Resources role (preferred)

  7. Broad P&C knowledge of various technical areas (preferred).
