Our Cambodia Office is seeking for Two (02) Cambodian candidatesto fill in the position below:

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Sponsorship Operations Specialist (Regional Sponsorship Officer) will manage and facilitate the communication between National Office, Area Programs, and Support Offices according to Global Child Sponsorship (WVI) standards in order to promote and expand sponsorship operations in Cambodia and sustain the level of engagement of Support Offices to the registered children (RC) in the Area Programs.

This position will provide overall technical support to the Area Program team to effectively implement World Vision Child Sponsorship Program that contribute to the transformation of registered children, their families, communities and sponsors.

Position: Sponsorship Operations Specialist

Location: National Office, Phnom Penh

  1. Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sponsorship businesses are processed in compliance with national and/or global Child Sponsorship standards and guidelines.

  • Equip and increase capacity of AP staff and community partners/volunteers in fulfilling their roles for successful implementation of Child Sponsorship in the Area Program.

  • Strengthen the implementation of Child Sponsorship Integration in Programming and promote community engagement

  • Assure high quality of all sponsorship businesses in order to enhance sponsorship integrity and sponsorship of excellence.

  • Strengthen the implementation of sponsorship systems (Horizon Desktop, Horizon Mobile, etc.) to enhance sponsorship integrity.

  • Responsible for the implementation of initiatives taken from Global Centre and Support Offices.

  • Build and maintain good relationship with all relevant stakeholders (AP Manager, Regional Manager, PC for CESP, Support Office Team, Global Centre Team, etc.).

  1. Knowledge and Qualifications:

As part of the World Vision Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organisation.

  • Good of command of English

  • Excellent understanding of sponsorship business processes, good knowledge of information management and human relations.

  • Experience in data/systems management and basic troubleshooting

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Sponsorship In Programme and Sponsorship 2.0 Project

  • Good understanding of Design/Plan, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME)

  • Must be highly motivated and proactive to try new things

  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, communication and people management skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidelines

  • Must be flexible to a demanding and changing working environment

  • Ability to apply principles to different context

  • Proficiency in computer literary—MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to commit to ethos, Core Values and the Mission Statement of World Vision International
