PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Partnership Channel Optimization Program Advisor leads and supports global working groups and fundraising offices across the World Vision partnership to develop, execute, track, and report on channel optimization projects to increase revenue growth.

Responsible for working with marketing and technical resources in support offices across multiple countries, you will be a key partner in refining the global marketing program strategy to grow both participation and revenue while measuring and reporting on the global impact of channel optimization tests.

You will collaborate with fundraisers across the partnership, developing localized optimization plans in alignment with, and building on, global-level channel optimization strategies and resources required to scale successful programs.

This role will also be responsible for leading and coordinating the partnership’s Global 6K For Water working group, scaling the program across multiple partnership offices for growth in participation and revenue year-over-year.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITES:

Lead development, testing, execution and communications for Channel Lead Generation and Cultivation Optimization and Performance Program.

  • Lead and coordinate global working groups responsible for Optimization programmes.

  • Collaborate with Support (fundraising) Offices and global teams to develop, implement and monitor localized optimization plans.

  • Act as subject matter expert / central resource for working group and Partnership offices.

  • Facilitate feedback cycle to support ongoing refinement of global marketing program strategy.

Lead and coordinate development and testing of experience and growth strategies for scaling of World Vision’s Global 6k For Water program across the partnership.

  • Lead and coordinate Global 6k For Water working group.

  • Act as subject matter expert / central resource for working group and Partnership offices.

  • Facilitate feedback cycle to support ongoing refinement of global marketing program strategy.

Other:

  • Administrative and project managerial responsibilities including budget reporting and forecasting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or closely related field. (Highly relevant professional experience may substitute in part for education; this will be evaluated on a case by case basis.)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of core marketing and sales strategies and tactics.

  • Agile Project Management – the ability to effectively manage large, complex projects is critical to success in this role, as is the ability to effectively incorporate continual improvement through ongoing testing and multiple feedback loops.

  • Highly proficient in information and communication technology online and offline with a primary focus on Office 365 and Adobe suite of tools and online communication tools.

  • Strong capability to partner, collaborate and impact in a virtual and global working environment.

  • Demonstrated success working in a multi-cultural setting or with transnational partners.

  • Demonstrated success designing marketing communication assets and reports using multiple data sources.

  • Demonstrated success leading Change Management processes.

  • Good time management and flexible schedule to serve the needs of multiple global partner offices.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely, and active initiative to carry out tasks and research as needed.

  • Critical thinking, multitasking and active initiative to identify areas of risk and opportunity in each context and trouble shoot or act as needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. This role requires not only technical proficiency in English, but the sensitivity to identify potential concerns or confusion in communication, as well as a strong ability to negotiate win-win solutions to problems.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication in Spanish and French.

  • Strong emotional and cultural intelligence (ability to adapt to different cultures and to understand people's values, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours).

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a marketing/communications role.

  • 3-5 years’ experience leading and facilitating virtual meetings.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management.

  • Working experience designing and developing marketing performance reports and best practice recommendations.

  • Fluent English written and verbal competency required.

  • Basic competence in written and verbal Spanish and French required.

  • Additional language competencies to perform in a work environment are highly valued.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree, Marketing/Communications. (Highly relevant professional experience may substitute in part for education; this will be evaluated on a case by case basis.)

  • Project Management training or certification.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in French and Spanish.

  • Proficiency using cloud-based communication and design tools; CRM, and online publishing systems.

  • 3-5 years demonstrated success employing core marketing and sales strategies and tactics.

Work Environment:

  • This position is based remotely.

  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.

  • The position requires a flexible schedule to meet schedules of international partners.
