World Vision International in Georgia is announcing an opening for the position of Marketing and Fundraising Manager

World Vision Georgia is committed to raise resources for its relief and development program in Georgia.
The Marketing and Fundraising Manager will ensure that WVG has a strategic vision for its marketing and fundraising work to maximize the current and future donors potential to provide financial resources to WVG.
The purpose of the role will be to build long term profitable fundraising initiatives by researching, shaping and implementing the organization’s fundraising plan, generating new and sustainable income streams via a range of corporate and individual partners.
This is a high profile role involving interaction with a range of people from across corporate and individual segments, including WVGnetworks, and raise awareness of the organization and its work, at both a local and national level, this will involve giving talks to groups or dealing with the media.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops the fundraising strategy and plan in consultation with the Program Director and SLT to maximize funds.
Identify fundraising campaign ideas and other fundraising opportunities for WVG and identify ways in which to creatively make them happen.
Build and maintain individual based marketing and fundraising mechanism.
Develop a well-established platform for maintain donors engaged and committed to their promises.
Ensure building high quality sustainable income from local individuals and corporates;
Build new and maintaining profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with corporate and potential corporate sponsors.
Based on recently implemented Marketing research findings focus on potential donor segments and work towards increasing numbers.
Insure the external communication is done with professionalism and accuracy.
Through WVG external communication and focused campaigns foster creation of favorable giving culture of wider Georgian Community.
Works towards accomplishment of targets by obtaining funds, finances, in-kind donations or volunteer teams based corporations.
Insure that is provided update on continue bases the donors and other partners involved.
Ensures quick wins through analytics of online traffic to and within WVG websites/social networks.
Lead WVG Resource Development with the specific purpose of incorporating learning from digital marketing and capturing opportunities for accelerating local income growth.
With senior management and project leaders to design and develop specific marketing plans that are aligned with WVG business objectives.
Marketing product are in place following the right process.
Maintain liaison with relevant PR, internet, marketing agencies and corporations in Geogia.
Implement fundraising campaigns and other donor’s acquisition and cultivation efforts.
Implement a donor cultivation strategy using mail, phone and personal meetings with donors.
Implement strategies for creative work and events as described above.
Focus on enhancement of digital marketing through developing respective processes and implementation plans for WVG donation web site that will help people coming in contact with WVG to experience the significance of making a difference in the lives of others and contribute financial resources.
Manages key accounts from creation, day to day correspondence up to complete follow-up of any donation activity.
Become an active participant in the NGO and marketing community in Georgia.
Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Management
At least 5 years in marketing management experience or related fields.
Ability to think strategically and visualize the bigger picture;
Pro-active, solution oriented.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to persuade network and negotiate effectively at senior levels.
Outstanding in verbal & written presentation skills.
Outstanding in listening and communication skills with a strong ability in influencing inside and outside the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages with multiple different priorities
Able to work independently in a relatively unstructured but highly accountable environment.
Ability to build network and engage at strategic level with marketing agencies and corporations in Georgia
Significant business experience within Sales, Marketing or/ and significant social marketing experience.
Solid verbal and written communication skills in Georgian, English and Russian.
