PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Assisting World Vision SSC by procuring their requested products and services at the best price/quality ratio in an efficient way. To determine procurement strategies which deliver best value across the whole range of ASSC’s purchasing requirements for products and services. To be responsible for the identification of best vendors to deliver the organization’s needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in developing or enhancing the procurement processes and procurement manual.

  2. Develop and review periodically the procurement policies and ensure its compliance with World Vision International policies and governmental regulations.

  3. Inform/Coach the WV team about new procurement processes and ensure that existing policies, procedures and practices are in full compliance with the WVL’s Purchasing Policy

  4. Update regularly the Procurement database in COUPA

  5. Conduct monitoring visits and report findings and recommendations to management

  6. Participates in the design and development of applications/solutions.

  7. Extracts and collects data for doing queries and writing reports.

  8. Installs catalogs and reports in databases according to specifications

Designs, develops and deploys new/revised reports with assistance.

Requirements

University degree in a field related to Business Administration

  • Excellent written English, with good command with spoken English

  • Basic Accounting knowledge
