Position: Project Coordinator for Prevention Pillar
Location:Banteay Meanchey Province
Salary & Benefit Package: (US$392 US$490) depend on professional experience and qualifications
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The purpose of the position is to be responsible for reducing risk to human trafficking through increased preventive measures for targeted groups, especially for the most vulnerable of the Prevention Pillar ETIP program.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Prevention Project Manager in project design, implementation, monitoring, and review
Implement the plan of action as developed with the Prevention Project Manager and Prevention Technical Officer
Upgrade knowledge and skills required for community empowerment, child participation, migrant protection, and local level advocacy
Develop working relationships with appropriate government officials, community leaders and members, children and youth
Build capacity of local level target groups and facilitate their active participation and ownership of project activities
Carry out interdependent activities within the ETIP Program that have been jointly planned and scheduled
III. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree of Sociology, Rural Development or any related field
Minimum two years of experience in related field
Experience successfully working in project planning, monitoring and evaluation is an advantage
Knowledgeable in English and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email & Internet
Fully able to embrace organizational values and possess a high level of commitment towards the mission of WVC
Willing to work as a team and to travel away from home to stay overnight on assignment area.
