Job Description

Administrative Coordinator – Job Summary

To provide administrative support to various divisions within World Vision Ghana

The Package

  • The position is based in Accra.

  • S/He reports to the Support Service Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the administrative function which includes the overall leadership of security, fleet, travel and general administrative services.

  • Support World Vision Ghana Land documentation management.

  • Manage service agreement and relationship between World Vision Ghana & Service Providers (cleaning / garbage collection / drinking water / accommodation service providers etc) for the Head Office and the Field Offices

  • Ensure the facility and landscaping is well maintained in the National Office

  • Collate monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for the Administrative department

  • Provide supervision, monitoring and performance management of World Vision Security Staff in the entire operation. Coordinate security incidents investigations across the Operation

  • Provide logistical support to expatriate and international staff to settle in Ghana.

  • Responsible for expatriate accommodation and departure procedures including apartment renovations

  • Support Document management initiative – to attain the paperless office objective.

  • Development through performance management, coaching and training for efficiency.

Education / Work Experience / Key Competencies

  • A minimum of a First Degree in Management Studies /or any related field.

  • At least 5 years experienced management in a comparable organization

  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills

  • Professional technical skills in Logistics or Administration

  • Demonstrated ability in leadership and team building

  • Supervisory skills.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills

  • Driving skills
