Fostering Hope Project Manager for Youth at Risk
The Project Manager will manage the project in accordance with the project design document to meet the donor's requirements as specified in the contract in order to achieve the best development outcomes possible for project beneficiaries. The Project Manager will conduct specific project management activities according to the particular Terms of Reference for the Project Manager position as developed in the project proposal document. The Project Manager will have direct report to his/her director in the NO where he/she will be located, and indirect report to the Program Manager in WV USA.
Bachelor's degree in international development, social sciences, economics or a related field. Master’s Degree or formal studies in Project Management or Business Administration.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
3-5 years project management experience. Where relevant, experience with Results Based Management or similar results based management tools. Experience with youth projects would be an asset.
Demonstrated experience managing teams to implement development projects
Excellent communications skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to travel internationally (El Salvador and Mexico) 3-5 times per year
Ability to personnel management.
Knowledge of violence prevention and child protection approaches.
Knowledge of the urban context in Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico.
