Social Worker - Kirkuk
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The social worker will be responsible for the life skills and resilience courses as well as providing case management to particularly vulnerable cases and build the capacity of staff on psychosocial support (PSS) activities. The social worker on CFLS will ensure that all activities have are committed to the child protection.

Refer child cases to the other NGO services and respective clusters
Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:
University degree in Psychology or Social Work.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in education including the ability to conceptualize, develop, plan and manage NFE programs that include curricula and materials design, teacher mobilization and training, monitoring Previous working experience in Child protection is mandatory requirement. Strong Management and team leaders is necessary.
Fluent in both English and Arabic (speaking and writing).
Computer literate mainly in Microsoft Office package.
Excellent communication skills with children of different age groups and adults (staff and community members).

Ability to work in difficult and high risk situations
Ability to cope and work under pressure
Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to work in a team
Familiar with Humanitarian Principles and standards
Familiar with sector minimum standards and guidelines such as INEE Minimum Standards; familiar with Kurdish and Iraqi education system and UN cluster system (high asset)
Work experience with humanitarian agencies.
10 Per Cent travel required.
