Education Facilitators


Position Title: Education Facilitator

Propose of the position:

The MADAD Youth RESOLVE consortium aims to strengthen youth resilience and empower youth as leading actors in post-conflict reconstruction in four countries: Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.

In Jordan, the consortium (consists of WVJ, Generations for Peace and Questscope) will work on three major components: Remedial Education, Social Cohesion and Livelihood.

The Remedial Education component is implemented by WVJ in cooperation with the MoE, and will be coordinated by three Education Facilitators (the Facilitators). The Facilitators will work on making sure all activities are being implemented as planned and are going towards achieving the set objectives. The Facilitators will work with the MoE to finalize the selections of schools, teachers, students and the schedule of classes. The Facilitators will also perform quality assurance for the classes conducted including pre and post evaluation, in addition to coordinate the procurement of needed material, meals and stationary.

The Facilitator will also provide operational and administrative assistance to the project staff, performs a variety of administrative, coordination, monitoring and logistical services in support of the operations of the program, and assists with information management the team.

Major Responsibilities:

Liaise with MoE relevant personnel (Schools’ principals, teachers, etc…) to agree on work plans and implementation.

Oversee the project implementation in selected schools with developing and updating Plans, assist programme manager in updating work plans and other project documents.

Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of education classes and activities and Submits written field and monitoring reports.

Support regular data collection, conduct analysis of data and prepare reports to management.

Provide programmatic and administrative support to the programme manager and other project’s staff. 


Technical diploma or university degree preferably in Education, social work or community development fields


minimum of 3 years working in a similar activity/ project

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of child protection / child rights

  • Good command of Arabic and English

  • Computer literate mainly with MS Office software package Good communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
