Position Title: Project Officer
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible to organize, store and analyze data with attention on security and confidentiality with a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedure, the post holder ensures that information flows timely and securely to and from the office as well as within.
General Administrative Support
In close coordination with NOUR Project Manager and all the staff working under NOUR project, the project assistant will assist in all administrative work assigned by the Project Manager.
Provide administrative support to OPS department upon request
Provide support to project team on reporting for the activities
Conduct frequent field visits as necessary, to all program sites throughout Jordan;
Support in working and input information for DIP updates on MS Project
Prepare Agendas and writing meeting minutes for the staff meetings and provide logistics support when needed.
Follow up when needed on the results of meetings with project manager and ensure that results are implemented as per the meeting.
Assist all the staff working under NOUR project in collecting information from the field.
Drafting agreements with partner institutions and external consultant
Collect and compile Field Trips Schedule from Project team to coordinate with drivers/Fleet coordinator
Supervise the project’s driver and organize his/her schedule
Builds and maintains effective relationships with team, colleagues, and partners;

Data Entry and Information Processing
Assist in the preparation of the different data and information reports and all related documents on monthly basis.
Keep and file data records and correspondences related to the project.
Support field staff in dealing with relevant authorities, organisations, institutions, donors, etc. by keeping necessary data records, beneficiary information and documentation;
Prepare, Compile and Sort Documents for Data Entry.
Check and verify source documents for accuracy, where necessary.
Obtain further Information for Incomplete documents and update data and filter unnecessary files.
Enter, filter and finalize Data from source documents and transcribe them into electronic format where required
Check Completed Work for Accuracy and Store Completed Documents.
Maintain Logbooks or Records of Activities and Tasks.
Respond to Requests for Information and Access Relevant Files from Project Team and DME Officer.
Comply with Data Integrity and Security Policies.
Any other duty as assigned by the Project Manager
Education:Diploma or university Degree in related field.
Experience:At Least one-year experience as Project Officer, Assistant and Data Entry officer.
Knowledge & Skills:
Bilingual (Arabic & English), good command (written and spoken) in both languages
Ability to work individually and in a team
Attention to detail
Time management skills
Excellent communication and co-operation skills.
Ability to cope and work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
Ability and willingness to work in Azraq Camp.
Computer literate mainly in Microsoft Office package.
Knowledge of MS Project
Very good knowledge of child protection.
Willingness to travel; Amman Office, 4 Governorates (Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Mafraq)
