Position: Field Officer
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the field Officer will be responsible for providing the general administrative support for the project by supporting the delivery of the project activities and coordinate with other departments upon request.
General Administrative Support
Provide support to project team on reporting for the activities
Conduct frequent field visits as necessary, to all program sites.
Follow up when needed on the results of meetings with project manager and ensure that results are implemented as per the meeting.
Assist and coordinate the project team in collecting information from the field.
Drafting agreements with partner institutions and external consultant
Collect and compile field trips schedule from Project team to coordinate with drivers/Fleet coordinator.
Supervise the project’s driver and organize his/her schedule.
Participate actively in project’s meetings
Liaise with procurement and finance department as per the procedures in place to coordinate the purchases & expenditures as required for activities implementation (Follow up procurement and administrative works; management of petty cash; management of project accounts and payment of bills).
Ensure an effective coordination with other project’s team members of the office.
Supporting field staff in the timely implementation of activities at field level.
Provide support to all activities implemented in in area of operation.
Coordinate and follow up with relevant departments project team requests and other required information
Data Entry and Information Processing
Assist and facilitate in the preparation of the different data and information reports and all related documents on monthly basis.
Keep and file data records and correspondences related to the project.
Support field staff in dealing with relevant authorities, organisations, institutions, donors, etc. by keeping necessary data records, beneficiary information and documentation.
Prepare, Compile, input and Sort Documents for Data Entry.
Check and verify source documents for accuracy, where necessary.
Obtain further Information for incomplete documents, update data and filter unnecessary files.
Enter, filter and finalize data from source documents and transcribe them into electronic format where required.
Maintain Logbooks or Records of Activities and Tasks.
Provide timely feedback to information requests.
Follow WV data collection and storing requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
At least one-year experience in field monitoring and distributions.
The holder of this position must have a Bachler’s degree.
Very comfortable supporting project team
Be proactive and anticipate emergencies.
Good written and oral communication skills
Conversant in English
Must have strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with an attention to details.
Requires strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.
Must be able to work effectively with a diverse team.
Requires the ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Diploma or university Degree in related field (Preferably in administration and/or data management)
Bilingual (Arabic & English), good command (written and spoken) in both languages
Ability to work individually and in a team

Time management skills
Excellent communication and co-operation skills.
Ability to cope and work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
Ability and willingness to work in Azraq Camp.
Computer literate mainly in Microsoft Office package.
