Purpose of the position:
Coordinate the micro enterprise development operations and provide technical support in enhancing quality economic development training at The district level.
Communicate World Vision's Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.

Help foster an environment conducive for the SG group members to achieve goals | 10 | ||
Market and promote the services and programs of SGs at the community level | 10 | ||
Formation of SGs groups including developing, training and tracking of savings and credit activities and all Micro enterprise development activities | 15 | ||
Identify and implement appropriate strategies, action plans and programs that would contribute to local business and community economic development | 10 | ||
Work with community groups to help strengthen and build stronger communities as appropriate and by taking a pro-active role in their activities as opportunities arise | 10 | ||
Creating and regularly updating a national database for caregivers, ensuring smooth payments of monthly stipends to caregivers | 10 | ||
Initiate and participate in Economic & Community Development Projects to meet the long term needs of the SG project nationally | 10 | ||
Conduct field visits to monitor SG groups, their performance, evaluate the impact and build support from local institutional businesses | 10 | ||
Compile monthly reports on SG activities and the caregiver’s compensation project. | 10 | ||
Share best practices and program improvements via appropriate channels. | 5 |
Other Competencies/Attributes:
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
Attend and participate/lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Minimum Educational level required:
Must have diploma in related field, University Degree will be an added advantage
Understanding of savings and credit associations an added advantage.
Ability to facilitate workshops in English and Sesotho to a large group of people
English fluency required; Sesotho language capability an asset
Ability to work as team member in an interdisciplinary environment and contribute to this in capacity building at national and Area Development Programme office levels of interaction
Abilities in the area of capacity building and training of trainers
