Purpose of the position:
Contribute to the effectiveness of World Vision Lesotho programs by researching and evaluating the projects on their effectiveness within the communities and areas of development.

Facilitate the establishment of monitoring system in the Area Development Programmes that will effectively track the implementation of the annual operational plans and overall goal achievement.
Implement a data system that enables access to information on research and evaluation work and its progress at project level.
Review, revise and implement evaluation and research processes that ensure staff & community participation in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating development activities.
Provide support to the Customer Services Department and to the Operations Department, ensuring the implementation of sound customer service practices, which will satisfy sponsors, support offices and the communities.
Provide support to project managers and monitor the progress of projects, including making frequent visits to project offices and communities.
Participate and follow up on operational audits as scheduled.
Participate in measurements of Transformational Development Indicators (TDI) and Baselines in WV Lesotho programs.
Participate in assessment, re/designs and transition process in WV Lesotho programs.
Facilitate implementation of LEAP in all WV Lesotho operational processes.
Participate in the DM&E related meetings.
Attend and participate in the daily devotional and weekly chapel meetings.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Minimum Qualification required:
Must have a university degree in social sciences with a strong Demography and statistics background or a development-related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
Must have at least more than three years in managerial positions within community development environment.
Must have ability to lead, give direction and work independently in all environments as required by hi/her responsibility.
Must have at least three years experience in development work in a developing country, preferably within World Vision.
Must have experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing and good analytical skills.
Ability to communicate within a cross-cultural environment essential.
Must be computer literate and have a thorough Proposal writing skills
