Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the District Warehouse Supervisor will work in a matrix reporting relationship with the District Project Officer. S/he will ensure the secure storage of WVI – Malawi Global Fund program goods stored in the warehouse. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining receipt, distribution, monitoring, accounting, documentation and reporting on the movements of mosquito nets.
Facilitate warehouse activities with special focus on receipts, dispatches, inventory management. Formulate regular monthly, quarterly and annual reports in liaison with CTS Coordinator.
Develop the distribution points schedule immediately the allocation plan for the district is approved.
Coordinate physical counts on all the nets on a monthly basis and ensure all nets have Stock Cards.
Manage the warehouse casual laborers and Conduct regular warehouse trainings for the Warehouse personel and other staff in the regulations and requirements of warehouse management.
Ensure that proper commodity management and accounting system in liaison with Commodity Tracking System Officer.
Conduct trainings in coordination with the LLIN Coordinator, Logistic Coordinator and CTS Coordinator to develop further capacity for the CTS users in the WV Malawi
Attend and participate in weekly chapel and daily devotional meetings.
Participate in the National office Rapid Response Team when called upon.
Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications, experience and Competencies
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field
Minimum of3 years’ experience in Warehouse Management or related field
Computer Literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, SPSS
Must be in a position to work with minimal supervision.
