Temporary Administration Officer-Blantyre

Job Description

Purpose of position

Under the direction of the Food Assistance Manager the Administrative Officer will support all staff in the region through provision of secretarial service, administrative and reporting support functions.The position is tenable at Blantyre HEA Office.

Minimum qualification and experience required

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Diploma in Business Studies or a relevant diploma in social studies

  • 3 years’ experience in office management, reporting and management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and willingness to learn

  • Self starter

  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and email

  • Excellent report writing skills

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
