Temporary Administrative Assistants-Chikwawa & Zomba

Job Description

Purpose of position

Under the direction of the Project Coordinator the Administrative Assistant will support all staff in the district through provision of secretarial service, administrative and reporting support functions. The position is tenable at Zomba and Chikwawa HEA Offices.

Minimum qualification and experience required

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Diploma in Business Management/Administration, Social Studies or any relevant qualifications

  • 1 year experience in office management, reporting and Administration

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and willingness to learn

  • Self-starter

  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and email

  • Excellent report writing skills

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
