Development Facilitator Sponsorship AP Team Leader
SPONSORSHIP DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR/AREA PROGRAMME FACILITATOR/AREA PROGRAMME TEAM LEADER
Purpose of Position:
Under the direction of the District Sponsorship Coordinator, the position will be responsible for implementation of sponsorship activities, community level coordination and fostering partnerships within the sector in the Area Programme. This position will represent WV at the AP level and foster strategic collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as government, NGOs and Faith Based Organizations (FBOs).
Minimum qualification and experience required
Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Community, Rural Development)
3 years’ experience in program management at community level working with different partners including government, community structures and other CSO’s
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills
Knowledge about sector related approaches and policies
Experience in working in a cross cultural environment strong skills in facilitation of development processes including organization, mobilization and influence of partners and networking among development partners.
Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
Ability to communicate fluently in both oral and written English
Willingness to live in the community
Experience in Community Development
Project Management skills
Knowledge of Program and Project implementation
Report writing skills
