Program Implementation

  1. Lead the planning, organization/ facilitation and implementation of all HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition interventions at the community

  2. Maintain programmatic accountability for program activities at community including data collection for evaluation, record keeping of activities, and the completion of all necessary quarterly progress and year-end reporting

  3. Establish, coordinate and integrate HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition interventions databases and develop information systems to support linkages with the other Health institutions.

  4. Facilitate increased access to health and HIV/AIDS institutions in the community.

  5. Facilitate efficient and timely implementation of planned activities by all relevant committees, district and community partners to ensure the right techniques, methodologies and standards are employed.

  6. Works closely with the government partners and health institutions to in implementing HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition interventions

  7. Distribute IEC materials and facilitate training programs to community members to ensure quality technical messages on various HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition information is reaching all the target beneficiaries

  8. Assist in the assessment of the potential for improving HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition intervention programs in the community.

Partnerships & Advocacy

  1. Network and collaborate with all local level stakeholders involved in HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition interventions in program implementation and facilitate smooth transition for sustainability in the program.

  2. Represent the program on relevant local level committees, taskforces, fairs, etc., in order to promote coordination and collaboration with other stakeholders and relevant efforts whenever possible

  3. Promote local level advocacy in HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition matters.

Sponsorship integration

  1. Facilitate child sponsorship operations in line with World Vision Malawi sponsorship management standards.

Capacity building

  1. Build capacity of the local HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition interventions communities or institution in preparation of annual work plan; and business plans based on local problems prevailing in the community; and opportunities for possible sub granting.

Program monitoring

  1. Provide technical support to the community on implementation of development plans and development activities through monitoring and review sessions consistent with budgetary allocation and within the set time line.
