Purpose of the position:

The purpose of the position is to provide overall logistical support to the implementation of Water Futures

In collaboration with partners, h/she will be responsible for planning and implementation of Mwater portal, programming and integration of a management information system aspect of the project.

Generate, automate and produce operational reports and management information, adhering to defined templates and ensuring compliance with information security protocols

Deal with systems queries and process requests in relation to problem solving, systems configuration and technical faults in collaboration with partners

Assist with the management of systems, as required, in terms of (but not limited to): maintaining data from the field and functionality of data processing

Contribute to the writing of the project monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Minimum Qualification required: Diploma in IT, Computer programming or Diploma in IT, Computer programming

  • Experience: At least 1 years total experience in MIS

  • Preferred:

  • Strong organizational, customer service skills.

  • Able to communicate with management and users topics relating to the operation of an MIS system.

  • Excellent knowledge of systems, consisting data management and security.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Detail-oriented team players with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent (written) documentation and verbal communication skills.
