Reporting to the M&E Specialist, the M&E Officer will work in a matrix reporting relationship with the Zonal M&E Coordinator to ensure the collection of quality M&E data for the Global Find Malaria program at the zone.
Maintain program/indicator M&E databases aligned to the TP results framework.
Provide leadership in the management of zonal information management system;
Ensure standardization of M&E tools and methodologies across implementing partners;
Perform field visits to ensure the quality of program/project data collected and provide guidance.
Facilitate the development of Household listing and district profiles
Support Zonal DME Coordinator in reviewing progress reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time
Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within Program field
Minimum Qualifications, experience and Competencies
Degree in social science, development studies or related field
At least 2 years’ experience in data base development and management
Good proficiency developing and managing databases
Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, members and external partners and supporters
Good level of proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis using statistical packages including SPSS, ENA for SMART, STATA
Strong written communication skills.
