Monitoring and Evaluation Officers

International Role - No - Only National applicants will be considered.

Reporting to the M&E Specialist, the M&E Officer will work in a matrix reporting relationship with the Zonal M&E Coordinator to ensure the collection of quality M&E data for the Global Find Malaria program at the zone.

Major Responsibilities

  • Maintain program/indicator M&E databases aligned to the TP results framework.

  • Provide leadership in the management of zonal information management system;

  • Ensure standardization of M&E tools and methodologies across implementing partners;

  • Perform field visits to ensure the quality of program/project data collected and provide guidance.

  • Facilitate the development of Household listing and district profiles

  • Support Zonal DME Coordinator in reviewing progress reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time

  • Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within Program field


Minimum Qualifications, experience and Competencies

  • Degree in social science, development studies or related field

  • At least 2 years’ experience in data base development and management

  • Good proficiency developing and managing databases

  • Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, members and external partners and supporters

  • Good level of proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis using statistical packages including SPSS, ENA for SMART, STATA

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
