Position: Zonal Design Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to ensure the collection of quality M&E data at the zone.
Establish and maintain program/indicator M&E databases aligned to the TP results framework.
Provide leadership in the management of zonal information management system.
Ensure standardization of M&E tools and methodologies across implementing partners.
Perform field visits to ensure the quality of program/project data collected and provide guidance
Facilitate the development of AP Household listing and district profiles
Monitoring and Reporting
Support Zonal DME Coordinator in reviewing progress reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time
DME Capacity Building
Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within Program field teams.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, ICT
Good proficiency developing and managing databases
Committed to World Vision Values
Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, members and external partners and supporters
At least 2 years’ experience in data base development and management
First Degree in Biostatistics, Public health, development studies, social science
Good level of proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis using statistical packages including SPSS, ENA for SMART, STATA
Strong written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and managerial capacity
Database management in an NGO setting
