The IT Coordinator role is responsible for supporting and maintaining global IT processes and standards within their NO. Individuals in this role manage services provided to one or more field office locations within a region.

Majors Responsibilities:


  • Provides input into the IT operating plan and communicates the plan to relevant stakeholders

  • Is familiar with the IT strategy that has been developed to enable the regional strategy

  • Provides IT input to NO leadership team

  • IT operating plan developed and communicated


  • Manages key stakeholder relationships in the National Office

  • Helps identify and document customer requirements for taking through the demand management process

  • Assists with measuring and reporting on customer satisfaction


  • Responsible for the delivery of IT services in the Hub according to service level expectations

  • Responsible for ensuring service management processes are understood and followed

  • Responsible for managing the IT asset inventory


  • Responsible for service desk queue management

  • Responsible for the provision of customer support

  • Provides support for global and local applications according to existing processes and SLA.

  • Assists in managing NO customer.

  • Expectations throughout the service life cycle.


  • Assists in the development and management of the IT budget in the NO


  • Identifies contract performance problems and communicates them to the relevant contract manager


  • Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses.

  • Discusses work progress and obstacles.

  • Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.

  • Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.

  • Provides input into development of measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals.

  • Assists in the identification of the roles, skills and knowledge required to achieve goals.

Provides input into IT workforce deployment activities.

Other Competencies/Attributes:

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Basic knowledge and appreciation understanding of sponsorship

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Qualification required: Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology.

  • Experience: 3 yrs/5 yrs in Managerial level

  • Preferred: Master in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field

  • Other: IT related business administration / project management experience is preferred.

  • Typically has at least 5 years of relevant IT and business work experience

  • . Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver a single IT project on time and within budget

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.

Technical Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced Computer skills

  • Cisco certified

  • Database/Network management .

  • Demonstrated ability in supervision

  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff-related to work environment needs

  • Intermediary level in English and fluent in French

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and public

Working Environment / Conditions:

  • Work environment: Office-based with planned travel to the field

  • Travel: 15% Domestic/international travel is required.

  • On call: 20%
