PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of the position is to support World Vision International Mongolia in practically living out and consistently communicating our Christian faith and calling with boldness and humility. In application, it will serve to support the principles and approaches delineated in the Partnership Policy on Witness to Jesus Christ and Partnership Policy on Partnerships with Churches. Integration of faith considerations into all programmes in support of child well-being (design, monitoring & evaluation and budgeting). Strategic partnering with churches and faith-based organisations (FBOS) for holistic ministry and Equipping employees to understand, articulate and live out WV's Christian faith and calling as appropriate to their context Consistent and clear communication of our Christian identity and mission, with messaging adapted for different audiences.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy, Planning, and alignment
Lead the implementation WVI Strategic imperative1 `sharing the Christian faith with boldness and humility` in the World Vision Mongolia office. Responsible for Faith and Development in technical programming at the target areas with local government units, Community based Organizations community, inter-agency network, faith based organizations, churches and other stakeholders.
Lead the Faith based partners engagement in National and local level.
Manage and deliver the staff capacity building trainings of Channels of Hope (CoH), Spiritual nurture of children (SNC), Celebrating Families (CF), Mission Immersion Program (MIP), Empowering World View (EWV) tools.
Provide spiritual leadership in the implementation of strategy and key technical sector priorities for World Vision International Mongolia, including input into the national annual business plan, and support of annual implementation plans for the Faith and development in Area Programs.
Faith & Development evidence based programs
Lead effective monitoring at project target areas and collates & supply monitoring data to Integrated Programs Director and World Vision technical programs Manage and ensure that all World Vision International Mongolia program interventions have a strong faith and development evidence base and that all activities are in line with World Vision partnership.
Continue to advocate for World Vision International Program Quality and Effectiveness Standards both internally and externally, and ensure that WVI standards are met.
Ensure that frontline staff have sufficient support and a sound understanding of the Faith and development related to WVIM.
Assure proper integration and team synergy between Integrated Programs teams, sector Specialists/advisors, provincial team leaders, and Operations staff.
External engagement and networking
Maintain strategic and effective partnership with key faith communities, faith based organizations INGOs for improving the well-being of children especially the most vulnerable.
Build a relationship with churches and Civil Society organizations at the strategic level to be more platform organization and to achieve advocacy messaging and objectives.
Participate in relevant regional and international networks, working groups, workshops, and meetings. Contribute to those forums with WVIM faith and development perspectives, learnings, and best practices.
Staff spiritual Nurture
Lead and follow up devotional and weekly chapel and support the spiritual development and provide spiritual nurture to all staff
Lead Day of Prayer and Christmas Celebration.
Ensures staff and partners understand WV safeguarding & anti-corruption policies.
Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Vision, Mission and Core Values in the approach to work and relationships
Build a trusted relationship with WVIM Teams and provide support spiritual and leadership
Show servant leadership principles in leading her teams and working with other teams;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum education, training, and experience requirements to qualify for the position
Education
A Bachelor degree or Master degree in the field of Public relations and Social Sciences and Theology
Good English speaking and writing
Proven experience as a team player
Experience
Spiritual leadership experience in the church ministry and development fields (at least 2-3 years)
Relevant experience of project implementation, or social development experience in the field is preferable
Knowledge and Skills
Good understanding of country context, development concepts, and sectors
Proven partnership skills in engaging key internal and external stakeholders including communities and children

Handling work with minimum manpower and lesser time
The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
