Job Description

Job Description: People and Culture Coordinator

Purpose of the position:

To coordinate staff well-being as per WV partnership standards and in line with country labor laws.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates all staff well-being programs

  2. Provide technical support and monitoring to the base P&C coordinator in staff well-being and social relations

  3. Facilitates orientation of new staff in the NO

  4. Initiates and develop programs and policies to improve staff well-being, staff retention and competitively (Health care, SALTI, benefits….)

  5. Facilitates administration of staff leaves and various allowances including medical claims and produce periodically reports.

  6. Prepares and compile staff training needs as per performance appraisal results

  7. Facilitates and Coordinates social relationship between WV (Management and Staff) and other social Institutions (such as CNSS…)

  8. Timely produces and disseminates information on staff well-being and SALTI.

  9. Responsible for all administrative work and distribution of all forms to staff.

Other Competencies/Attributes:

  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

  • Educational level required: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Law Sciences

  • Experience: 3 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Preferred : Technical Training qualifications required:

  • Computer skills

  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Good communications skills

  • Tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff-related to work environment needs

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all staff

  • Fluent in French and working knowledge in English
