This position will assist the Director, Financial Data and Capability in planning and implementing talent, capability and culture across the broader Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis, Data and Capability teams. To achieve this, the position will plan, lead and manage people, tasks and projects. This position will ensure effective and quality planning, strategy execution and communication. This position will also provide hosting services for finance staff.


  • Manage a team supporting and/or providing services to World Vision teams, departments or offices.

  • Build new partnerships, and maintain/develop existing relationships with hosted staffs’ line/matrix managers.

  • Arrange and manage the legal, financial and administrative set-up with FRSC management, GC, local P&C and legal.

  • Ensure proper performance and staff management in partnership with the hosted staff’s line manager.

  • Collaborate with managers, lead team, and P&C to assess capability needs.

  • Assess and identify training needs, and recommend capacity and culture building programmes.

  • Build competencies and skills by implementing learning plans, engaging with subject matter experts and trainers, choosing appropriate learning methods.

  • Develop and create learning and training content and materials. Train and lead trainings.

  • Continuously learn about innovations and best practices in people and process management.

  • Lead or contribute to team-related initiatives.

  • Recommend and implement processes, projects or outputs that will maximize productivity and efficiencies.

  • Review and coordinate efforts, processes and skillsets of the staff and identify areas where efficiencies can be achieved.

  • Organize or assign individuals to the right clients, as allowed.

  • Devise, create or formulate new standard and value-adding products and services (e.g. programmes). Ensure business continuity within his/her team.

  • Lead and/or participate in projects especially in the areas of learning & development, people & culture and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and produce internal and external communication.

  • Assist immediate supervisor and leadership in managing and monitoring the budget and expenses of the team especially the hosted team.

  • Assist the Director, Financial Data and Capability and the rest of the leadership team in various assignments, tasks and projects that support the hosting services, project management, and finance systems.

  • Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.

  • Attend and participate in chapel services, daily and group devotions.

  • Promote World Vision’s values through example and hold others accountable for the same across the team.



  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership post.

  • At least 5 years relevant professional experience in a comparable position which involves strategic planning and management, operations management, people and performance management, and budget management preferably in a non-profit organisation or international organisation.

  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborative work with various stakeholders at all organisational levels, negotiate and build partnerships, and influence and convince people.

  • At least 2 years experience in learning and development.

  • Proven experience in finance, project management, business process outsourcing/shared services, and business process improvement .

  • University degree in business management, or finance.

  • Above average knowledge in MS Office especially MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.

  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance key business processes, IT finance systems, shared services operations, organizational development principles, people and culture, and general management.

  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, people management skills, time management, problem solving, interpersonal relations, decision-making, project management and conflict management.

  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization (verbally and in writing).


  • Masters in Business Administration, Certificate or Masters in Change and/or Organizational Development.

  • Experience in conflict management.

  • Experience in labor and legal management.
