Senior IT Recruiter

Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

World Vision International (wvi.org) is looking for a world-class Senior IT Recruiter with extensive sourcing experience, motivated by faith, to find great IT leaders to help us in the relentless pursuit of our vision for every child:

We need an experienced IT Recruiter with a focused eye for spotting high performing technology talent, the know-how to reach them and the experience to land and bring them onboard. You will be filling mid-level, senior and executive ITleadership positions based in our IT hubs in Manila, KL and across the globe; managing all aspects of the sourcing, selection and offer process; ensuring a positive candidate experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stakeholder Management, Customer Service & Strategy Development:

  • Conduct thorough Position Brief (intake meeting) with hiring manager for each position posted.

  • Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs.

  • Attend IT departmental meetings(both in-person and virtually, as requested) and brief senior staff on recruiting efforts.

  • Develop and implement a diversity sourcing and recruitment strategy for IT roles.

Technology Workforce Planning & Candidate Identification and Sourcing:

  • Source passive candidates on IT sites, social media and niche platforms and also through extensive Internal and External referral lists.

  • Work with assigned Sourcing Specialist on hard to fill roles.

  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.

  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.

Candidate Screening, Interview and Assessment:

  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.

  • Perform pre-screening calls/and/or develop written pre-screen questionnaires to analyze applicants’ abilities and overall cultural and job fit.

  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).

  • Compose job offer letters.

  • Assist as needed in Onboarding new hires.

  • Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work.

  • Create talent pipelines for hard to fill roles.

General:

  • May work on other Global Center positions outside of IT roles as needed.

  • Will attend regular and monthly team meetings and training conferences.

  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in technology recruiting ; preferably with extensive experience in recruiting IT leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to use creative sourcing and networking skills to connect with IT professionals.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.

  • Successful skills and ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects in an ever-changing multinational organization.

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience.

  • Spiritual maturity to assist in determining cultural fit and leadership ability of candidates.

  • A deep understanding and passion for the technology industry – aware of the latest trends and and global talent market.

  • Certification in Internet IT Recruiting through AIRS or Social Talent , Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or equivalent certification is required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in the INGO sector preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research, and cold-calling is a must.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage wide network of key customer relationships, provide strong customer service engagement and delivery skills, and work effectively in a multi-national (or global) virtual team environment.

  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business partners, hiring managers and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment.

  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

  • A self-starter who is driven to find the best candidates for the positions and can work in an environment with minimal supervision.

  • Cross cultural life/work experience.

Work Environment/Travel:

  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
