PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To conduct ad-hoc sponsorship data analysis for monitoring, research and management purposes contributing to excellence in sponsorship. The position will work in close collaboration with the Senior Sponsorship Data Analyst and will contribute to the analysis of end-to-end sponsorship data apply in appropriate tools and techniques.
Will provide support for ongoing maintenance of existing reporting mechanisms.
Provide input in design and conduct ongoing analysis and interpret results to support the partnership.
Extract, process, analyze and interpret data from various Sponsorship and related systems.
Prepare and/or collaborate with Senior Data Analyst on presentations, documentation and analysis reports to support management and project teams.
Perform data quality assessments on research and reports. Gather data from other sponsorship organizations through agreed processes for research and comparative analysis.
Ensure quality and integrity of data including well- organized, documented and maintained data files. Ensure data security and protection.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Mathematics or related fields.
Minimum of three year experience in positions relating to or as statistician, researcher or analyst or related areas in multi-national or international NGO.
Basic and advanced level of statistical analysis and output interpretation.
Skilled in structured problem solving and ability to perform complex analyses and draw meaningful and actionables insights.
Proficiency in statistical software applications and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word.
Macro or STATA skill is an advantage.
Work experience in an NGO context or environment is a plus.
