Director II-N, Operations
To provide overall operational leadership for World Vision Romania, so as to ensure that designated objectives and goals are met and are in line with the national strategy and the set international standards and objectives.
1. National Strategy
In coordination with the National Director supervises the implementation of the National strategy objectives that are achieved through the contribution of projects implemented in Area Development Program (ADP/Zonal Offices) and grants;
Proposes and monitors KPIs for strategy implementation and business plan
Supports projects managers and monitors the projects’ progress including through field visits to project offices and communities.
Manages the coordination of on-going evaluations and impact assessments of all project activities.
2. Contribute to strategic development of WVR Foundation.
Ensure the implementation of Operations programs is guided by sound developmental principles, and contributes to the mission of WV Romania
Oversees the implementation of Operational Audit recommendations
In collaboration with GAM and Marketing determines which funding opportunities support the national strategy implementation and makes recommendations to SMT/ National Director.
In collaboration with P&C elaborates organizational chart and capacity building plans for operations to achieve the set targets
3. Strategic Management and representation
Participates in the Senior Leadership Team meetings, contributing to the decision making process for the organization’s ongoing activities and development
Represents WVR in Regional and International meetings related to Operational models
Represents the organization in relation to the Support Offices
4. Leadership Capacity Building Responsibilities
Coordinates ADP Managers’ team on organizational policies and procedures compliance.
Provides direct leadership to the DME Manager, Programming Manager and National Specialists.
Affirms, mentors, coaches and equips managers to set strategic directions, strengthen relationships with Support Offices, accept accountability, manage performance, ensure succession planning, and nurture staff in a way that aligns with WV’s vision, mission, and core values and enables WV Romania to meet its organizational goals.
5. Christian Leader
Attend and participate in weekly chapel and daily devotional meetings.
