Administration Officer West Region
World Vision Rwanda is a child focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs in 18 Districts of Rwanda.
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated and experienced national for the position of Administration Officer. The position will be based at World Vision’s Regional office in Huye District and reporting to the Regional Finance Manager.
Purpose of the position:
The Administration Officer will work with the Regional Finance Manager in the coordination of office functions and logistical support to world Vision Rwanda Programs.
The major responsibilities include:
Monitor office-cleaning services to ensure clean and friendly working atmosphere.
Coordinate the work of cleaners, gardeners and office assistants, to ensure that their services to office and clients are maintained at the high standards commensurate to the organization mission and policies.
Working on Assets Inventory, and Reports.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance of the Regional office.
Work with Clusters and Finance to make sure all invoices have required support documents for their timely payment in order to preserve the good image of the organization in line with World Vision Mission and core values.
Maintain good level of public relations with outside suppliers as well as strong partnership with internal users.
Act as member for the Procurement Committee at the Regional level.
Facilitate Regional logistics.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Public Administration or related field.
A minimum of 3 years in a related position.
Other Competencies/Attributes Required
Excellent communication skills
Must be proficient in the English Language, both spoken and written
Knowledge of French language is an added advantage
Should have excellent interpersonal skills
Should be computer literate in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel)
Ability to work under pressure
Team player who is detail-oriented
Ability to work in a cross cultural environment
Mature Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
