World Vision Senegal is an international NGO presents in Senegal since 1984 and is involved in the Transformational development, humanitarian emergencies and Advocacy. Our interventions will affect more than 08 million children living in areas categorized as the most vulnerable of the country in 2021. In Senegal, we are present in 06 regions (Fatick, Kaffrine, Kédougou, Tambacounda, Kolda and Diourbel) through integrated programs of a minimum of 15 years and special projects installed in 88 Local Authorities.

POSITION:Campaign Coordinator

Localisation: National Office (Dakar)

Number: 01

Type of Contract: Fixed-term full time contract (1-2 years), open-ended full time contract after 2 years if you got a good performance

Purpose of the position:

Support the National office in maximizing its contribution to Child Well-Being through the effective implementation of campaigns in line with the national Strategy and LEAP 3 products and deploy appropriate advocacy approaches at local and national levels.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Uphold all WV Policies including all the standards outlined in WV Senegal’s child protection policy and contributing to making the NO a Child Safe Organization

  • Lead the development of identified campaigns framework for WV Senegal’s

  • Take the lead to integrate campaigns outcomes, outputs, activities, indicators and budget into WVS programs approaches.

  • Perform quality assurance checks for all campaigns in line with the National Strategy and programming.

  • Coordinate the implementation of campaigns across both programming and advocacy across all sectors.

  • Provide leadership for campaigns ensuring the stated objectives are effectively achieved in a timely manner.

  • Lead the process of regular policy analysis for public engagement and policy influence related to the NO campaigns.

  • Liaise with RO and GC Campaigns Team to share information and resources, and participate in global coordinated lobbying and global popular mobilizations

  • Establish and / or integrate networks of partners (Civil Society, Technical & Financial Partners, Embassies, Bilateral & multilateral Partners, UN system etc ...) to access funding opportunities linked to WV Senegal campaigns at national and local level.

Other Competencies/Attributes:

  • Substantial understanding and experience of government policy, particularly as it relates to child rights and well-being

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Excellent coordination skills and ability to make people work together towards a common goal

  • Interpersonal skills with team leadership and proven participation.

  • Ability to communicate in English.

  • Project Management Experience.

  • Ability to use public relations to forge a strong consensus.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan and meet deadlines.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification required: A Bachelor in social sciences or other relevant field

  • Experience: At least 3 years professional experience in advocacy in International NGO.

  • Preferred: A Master's degree in social sciences or other relevant field
