World Vision Somalia Program wishes to invite applications from highly competent dynamic, self-driven and results oriented Somalia Residents to fill the following vacancy to be based in Baidoa Office.
To provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment in the team house and office.
Implement cleaning procedures and practices functioning
Carry out daily, weekly and special cleaning of the Office;
Inform the Administration Officer of any maintenance requirements as well as supplies needed ;
Maintain the vegetation and flower beds in the compound.
Facilitate effective and comfortable Office & Team house conditions
Maintain high standards of hygiene at team house and office facilities;
Clean and maintain the team’s laundry;
Facilitate customer-focused service provision at team house and office facilities
Undertake routine task in support of accountable team house/office implementation
Maintenance of equipment: cleaning equipment and agents, fire alarm;
Performing any other duties as requested by supervisor;
Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must adhere to set security standards
Ensure a gender perspective in the scope of work
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Educational level required: primary School – (O-level)
Experience: 1 years of experience in a similar job preferably within an NGO
Basic spoken English preferred
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Guest house assigned to.
Travel: No Domestic/international travel is required.
On call: Immediately
