Project Assistant I: FAIRO & CTS (Dollow)
Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of this position is to support the Food Assistance Sector with efficient targeting, reporting, collate and analyze program information for effective implementation
Participate and ensure proper targeting and registration of project beneficiaries for the food and cash, nutrition and other WV projects.
Conduct data and information capture in the provided data bases (CTS, LMMS, SCOPE, NTS) while ensuring that all reporting of the assistance programming follows agreed reporting protocols.
Making sure that the Commodities Tracking Systems; CTS, LMMS, SCOPE are functional and used effectively to track project information.
Reviewing reports and timely submission of project invoices for both partners and WV, monthly CTS and CSR Reports.
Prepare accurate and reliable statistical analysis as required by the management.
In collaboration with the field CTS/FAIRO coordinator and the field teams support new projects roll out, cash and voucher distribution.
Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as negotiation skills
Must adhere to set security standards
Ensure a gender perspective in the scope of work
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience:
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Planning & Management, Community Development or closely related field from a reputable and recognized University /College.
Minimum Diploma in Community Development, Project Planning & Management, Business Administration or Related Field
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a related job & also in relief and development work.
Practical experience in managing data bases (CTS, LMMS, SCOPE)
Practical experience in handling food/cash distributions
Good knowledge of SPHERE standards.
Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and Power point Packages.
Experience in community based participatory development approaches strongly desired
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Field–based;
Travel: 10% Domestic/international travel is required
On call: Immediately
