Legal Associate - Colombo

Location: Colombo with travel to the field
This position will support the Legal Department of World Vision (WV) Lanka inter aliain the following manner;
Review and draft all legal agreements.
Liaise with external counsel for WVL litigation matters and attend court proceedings.
Perform legal research work as and when necessary.
Assist in the coordination of training workshops
Update and maintain the legal database.
Education, Knowledge & Experience
Must be licensed to practice law in Sri Lanka
Minimum of one (01) year experience as an Attorney-at-Law.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
Good analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Legal contract management experience preferred
