CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS OFFICER - MARKETING
Working under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager – Corporate Partnerships the position will provide support to the Corporate partnership team in developing & managing the Corporate Partnerships portfolio of World Vision Lanka (WVL). The candidate will engage in meeting programmatic priorities and achieve strategic targets, strengthen corporate partnerships, its impact and achieve its vision.
He/she will provide critical support in enhancing the corporate collaboration of WVL & establish new funding opportunities through the development of innovative project designs & partnership opportunities through strategic engagements with the corporate partners. The position will play a key role in increasing & diversifying the national resource base of WVL in line with the corporate partnership strategy of WVL within the framework of the WVL national strategy.
Key Objectives of the position
Identify, pursue & secure new corporate partners to strengthen, enhance & diversify the national resources base of WVL in meeting the organizational goals and objectives
Manage & cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential donors and corporate partners through continuous communications & collaborative engagements
Work in collaboration with WVL Program Operations in developing concept papers, project designs & project proposals to establish & enhance the WVL Corporate Partnership portfolio to meets its programmatic priorities
Monitor progress of projects and ensure submission of project reports in line with the partnership agreements and WVL Policies & Procedures
Preferred Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Degree/ Diploma in Marketing & related educational background
Experience in Sales, Marketing with demonstrated prior success in business development , CSR initiatives/Corporate Community Investment & related roles
Good relationship management skills to effectively engage with & manage diverse stakeholders
Good understanding of current socio, economic & political context of the country
Excellent communication, presentation & report writing skills in English, ability to communicate in Sinhala and/or Tamil preferred
Competency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
A team player with good interpersonal skills with cross-cultural sensitivity, & commitment to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement
